The new currency has everyone so lost. People refuse to learn it, govt refuses to explain it properly. Everyone is still quoting old numbers like nothing changed. Merchants are rounding everything up and cleaning house while the people get screwed tbh.

A cheesy sign that I’m actually very fond of because it means we’re becoming a normal cheesy country after years of being unique in the most horrific ways. (2/2)

Two sides of Qudsayya. Here is Tishreen Park. It became a makeshift graveyard while the neighborhood was besieged and nobody could leave to bury their loved ones. (1/2)

When I got sick and sat in the bed for a week, I made sure that there were those who cared about me even a little bit and who called themselves family and friends they are very few, And I also knew those who don't care about me. I knew how lonely I really am.

Someday, I’ll bring back @SyriaPod and put out content regularly. That’s a promise. Someday. I’ll either get there or die trying.

I tried and failed to be a pretentious, high-minded podcaster. Now I’m pivoting to easy livestreams about a variety of topics instead of just one niche subject. I want to return to @SyriaPod but I just can’t right now with my work schedule.

To this day, the only proven case(s) of Syrian mercenaries, post-Assad, taking part in combat were the SAA remnants whom the Russians flew out of Qamishli to fight in Ukraine. A few Alawites in the SAA converted to Twelverism and joined Hezbollah. That’s it.

👨‍🎓🎓👨‍🎓Thank God... Thank God who completed my happiness ❤️🎓 Today I graduated from university, and I carry in my heart pride and joy that words cannot describe. The road was not easy, but I arrived... And today I am standing proudly in front of a long-awaited dream. I am very grateful to everyone who will share this moment with me, with a word, with a prayer, or in his presence and support. ❤️ Thank you to everyone who believed in me, and to everyone who loved to see me smiling despite everything we've been through. Today is not just graduation... Today is a dream victory. 🎓❤️
🎓 The day I dreamed of for years is coming soon...👨‍🎓🎓🎓👨‍🎓🎓 Despite the war, bombing and fear, I held on to my studies until I reached my graduation day. The road wasn't easy, but I didn't give up. Now, as I am on the gates of the most beautiful day of my life, I stand helpless in the face of the small costs I need to celebrate my graduation and rejoice with my family. I'm ashamed to ask you, but this day means a lot to me... Please, help me as much as you can, even if it's a small amount💔 Your contribution will not only help me with the graduation costs, but will also make me feel that there is someone who shares my joy with me after everything I have been through. 🙏 A small donation from you or a post that may make a big difference in the most beautiful day of my life. Thank you to everyone who stood by me, and everyone who will help me live this moment that I have been waiting for for years. 🤍🎓🎓👨‍🎓👨‍🎓 gofund.me/5f11606e

Incredible story of a man who walled himself for over a decade after being wanted & arrested by Regime for taking part in anti-Assad protests. Only his wife knew it, secretly passing food & medicine via a small hole. He finally emerged on Dec. 8, 2024.

Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa on Israel: Even the presidential palace has been bombed twice by Israel. Our airports are being bombed by Israel. Will that bring security to Israeli citizens? Look at the relationships we have with the U.S., UK, and Lebanon. They are successful. I believe the problem is with Israel, not Syria.

Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa: I don’t believe that it’s an appropriate time to discuss things that happened 25 years ago. I was at a different age, and the conditions in the region were different.

Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa: I had nothing to do with 9/11. I was 13 years old at that time. I didn’t know anything about this stuff. Of course, I am sorry for all the victims, both in the U.S. and those who fell in the Middle East because of the policies that were pursued there.

Ahmed al-Sharaa was born in 1982 and was 18-19 during the 9/11 attacks, not 13 as stated in the clip. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahmed_al-… jpost.com/middle-east/ar… cnn.com/world/middleea…
