The Philippines government letting USA build Data centers and removing indigenous people from their land, letting Israelis harass the locals, let kids die to school shootings, letting us suffer from floods, and so much more to name...

Discord is a crucial lifeline for countless TAX-PAYING WORKERS on the internet.
If this turns out to be an actual ban order, it puts real Filipino livelihoods at risk.
Para saan? Para mag-mukhang macho and gobyerno sa mga internet companies? Pathetic.

Discord was instrumental in mobilizing protests in Nepal.
Reddit is where INC dissidents leak the cult's plans.

Discord users in the Philippines may have trouble connecting to the app.
This started after the CICC warned Discord and Reddit that they could face restrictions unless they appointed local representatives.
Both companies responded. CICC then extended the deadline.
Discord has not been officially banned nationwide. However, many Globe and DITO users report connection errors. This points to a block at the internet-provider level, most likely DNS filtering, not a full government shutdown.
What users report works for now: switch to Google DNS (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1), then restart the app.
Cool project to have worked on.

I developed the concept with them and assembled a small team to bring that cinematic vision to life.
Here’s a sequence where everyone’s strengths came together.
