(Thread) In most years our highlight has been the Christmas Dinner where a team of volunteers inspired by @lemnsissay and @GoldFSF work with @MyNottingham council staff to ensure no-one's on their own on Christmas Day. This year is a bit different. (1)
Particular highlights this year have been the cakes and bakes made by the super-talented @BethShouler and @orange_drew (4)
Overall a fantastic effort from so many people in Nottingham, Manchester, London and many other cities to ensure that young adults with experience of the Care System know they are valued and not forgotten. #LightInTheDark (5/5)
We enjoyed a terrific Christmas Day meal with young adult careleavers from our city & county. Made possible by generous supporters, dedicated volunteers, a wondeful venue, and 2 great local authorities - @MyNottingham & @NottsCC
