PSA about what happened to me on here Sunday.
For a few weeks I kept getting notifications about different IP addresses that were attempting to log into my account. X suggested turning on 2FA but I kept going. Finally on Sunday they succeeded.
How did they succeed? Did I click on something? No, I did not. Phishing scams do not work on me. What happened was my email associated with my account had been in 15 data breaches over the years. And one of the data breaches was Twitter in 2023. In that 2023 Twitter data breach they got usernames and passwords. If you haven't changed your password on X since 2023 do yourself a major favor and do that right now then turn on 2FA.
And then you can go to a site like : Have I Been Pwned
and type in your email and it will show you every data breach associated with that email and exactly what they got access to in that breach.
Forensics has revealed more about the group that got into my account and what sort of scam they were attempting to run.
Needless to say if you ever see this account suddenly flip to offering some private crypto coin to flip into another larger crypto to then go to a website for some bullshit opportunity ( in this case some agentic ai create businesses that don't need people ) ... you know that ain't me. Report it like many of you did to help slow them down.
Those of you who reported the hacked activity helped in slowing them down. Those of you like @RichardMoglen @TMLTrader @alphacharts365 @amphtrading that put out posts for me tagging @Support @premium @nikitabier @X helped push the ticket along faster imho. @NickSchmidt reaching out to the right folks on my behalf I think helped a lot.
They had control of the account for half a day, but most of the time it was locked. By the time I found out and filed with X on it that took around 6-9hrs. The initial automated returns from their system are unnerving because they essentially read like "We can't do anything for you." There needs to be a better process for Premium+ folks that are ID verified. But filing a few more tickets referencing the prior ticket numbers in each new one finally got to the point where when I went to file the fifth one when I hit submit it read "can't submit as you are already in the queue." When I saw that I knew it was getting pushed for human review or whatever the next automation was. And that turned out to be a series of emails from X to submit my ID and answer some more questions.
After that X changed the email back to mine.... locking out the hacker who had changed it to their email locking me out. And then I had to log in ... create a new password ... verify the email, etc.
After doing that you have to wait 24hrs before you can flip on the 2FA. They do that just in case the hacker gets back in they don't want them turning on the 2FA to really lock you out. So last night was finally that 24hr mark and I was able to get the 2FA turned on. Didn't want to post about anything until I got that done.
And of course every change that is made there's a 24hr period before anything else can be changed. The last thing I need to do is fix my bio where they changed that.
Will find a new pic to put in when I do that next. And of course write back in my bio in proper English.
Thank you for your attention to this matter! 🇺🇸🐒
$SPY and $QQQ both had 3 bar breaks to the downside last Thursday on gaps that were left unfilled on the day.
SPY midpoint from that is at 767.13
QQQ midpoint from that is at 713.55
When you have a 3 bar break on the downside you generally want to reclaim the midpoint on a closing basis in short order. 3 days or less is best.
/NQ coming into this 29,513 midpoint area now.
OEL wick set up to start the globex for /NQ with 10% ATR HOD from the open.
Midpoint from last Thursday's 3 bar break down sits at 29,513.13.
That midpoint would be the target if this wick set up breaks out 29,326 and the OEL is not mitigated inside the wick set up at 29,268. That would be the most powerful bounce scenario.
It could violate the OEL and still hold the wick set up though down to 29,175.
So violation of 29268 opens the pullback to Friday's close. Staying above the OEL would make for a more powerful wick set up move with potential for a midpoint retest.
$TSLA with a 3 bar break up through the 200ma with 80% ATR HOD so far. Moving on an analyst upgrade catalyst which is the weakest type, but it is giving it standout RS to trade on the opening drive. And that's all I'm doing in this market essentially all year.
240ma above around 100% ATR level from Open. Standout % gainer and ATR % gainer in UWL this morning.
Sorry to hear about your nephew @jimcramer
Prayers for you and your family during this difficult time.

Ken Griffin with the TRUTH about so many in our industry. They just have poor risk management and only believe price when it is going with their line of positioning.

Interestingly a lot of emotions will flare up around the edges of what normal ATR levels are. Most don't track this as they only see something down x% and don't correlate it to the ATR % of that stock to be able to see the absurdity of the emotions flaring up around what is still normal.
These emotions are primarily generated from position traders generally because they may have just positioned into something they didn't fully vet the ATR expectations of, or they bought extended. Opportunities arise from these misalignments.
For the intraday practitioner having a good edge when this occurs is where you can exploit what is normal to the market, but feels abnormal to the bulk of its participants.
Sizing up on and compounding these opportunities is the key to achieving strong YTD returns without incurring constant overnight risk.

Just seems a bit out of line that at the cash close the values are not frozen for that.
And if we're going to go forward with this experiment then we should then be able to do market orders in the after hours vs these limit orders which are more difficult to execute. Make everybody sign something that acknowledges the risk of market orders in thin markets, etc. And for those of us that check depth of market before firing off market orders it won't be an issue.
So if we're going this casino route at least give us the tools to operate in the best way with market orders during all times. I'm sure the Citadel and other market maker algos will step up to fill the liquidity gaps.
I would suggest emailed updates and posts on your X feed today to outline where things stand right now and what the roadmap is. It will just get everybody on the same page sooner and keep you guys from having to field the same questions over and over.
Thank you for the response. Cheers!

Hi, this is expected behavior after a recent update. Net Change and % Change now reset at the end of extended-hours trading. A planned update later this month will enable continuous 24/5 updates for eligible equities, including Net Change. We appreciate your patience!
