I am the worst. In 2022, automatic1111 diffusion was released. At that time, I was taking commissions making various art for streamers: Panels, starting screens, brbs, alerts, emotes etc. Working the traditional way that I had for years: Ps Ae Pr. A few months passed and text became legible on AI Art. And none of my competition saw it. So I began to pump. And pump I did. I sold SO MUCH to these streamers. They thought I was toiling away, spending hours upon hours on their emotes and panels. lul At the time, nobody was sniffing for AI Art. These retards had no clue. They never asked if it was made with AI because they had not been spoon fed an agenda by the media to hate AI. The sheep hadn't had time to gather en masse to form hate mobs to seek out and harass people for using AI. Now that the hate mob is out in full-force, I look back on that time and smile. To tell you the truth, in hindsight, I LOVED taking work from these people, for they turned out to be the same people, now, that go around and actively buy steam games, leave negative reviews, and then refund the game, ALL for the sake of being Anti AI. As if they are saving the world by attempting to ruin indie game devs. delusional. ------------- I'm not a take-the-high-road person. As the meme goes: when they go low, I go lower. And the fact that most of the anti AI crowd are furry pedo groomers, makes my old endeavors even more batman-esque. Anyways, I win you lose I'm the best and you suck.

How are you guys so good at logic and also so retarded at logic. "isn't this actually, MY brain's work? Should I claim it as mine?" Imagine you tell a programmer: "Write me a new shader in the style of Inigo Quilez. Use the lighting, math, animation techniques, and variable-naming habits he uses." They study your public work and produce something that matches it closely. Is that shader yours? No. The person who directed it produced it. Studying and applying someone's publicly demonstrated techniques doesn't transfer authorship of the new output to them. Same thing if the "programmer" is an AI given a prompt to impersonate you. Dependence and resemblance don't make the result your work.

I grow weary of your shaders. We get it. Its solved. We know. Show us something incredible, by today's standards.

Musicians, true musicians, didn't stop when the DJs came around and took our gigs. But this didn't and doesn't stop people who love music and playing instruments. If you were in it to make money, and this was the chief and primary reason you pursued it, then maybe your reasons for being in the software development industry were very shallow to begin with. But now we get it from jealous trad devs who want you to use the now archaic methods that they still use. The hate is one way. They go out of their way to offer their unsolicited, condescending 'advice' and warnings of "you'll regret that messy code base" and "you're building a lot of tech debt that's going to come back to bite you in the ass". But me? I don't care what you do. I don't care if you hate ai, or you love ai, or don't gaf about ai. I don't care if you write in HolyC on paper with a number 2 pencil. Do your thang.
