Got to feel sorry for all those outside venues opening up again. As lockdown started a year ago, weather warm & sunny. Looking now – cloudy and it is freezing! You have to be hardy to sit outside today! Hopefully improving in days to come - Hospitality sector deserves a break
Reported on Insolvency Service website, “The government has announced a “Digital Markets Unit (DMU) has been established within the CMA to begin work to operationalise the future pro-competition regime for digital markets.” Anybody care to translate?
Having listened to latest statements, seems lockdown is still going to be eased? Let’s see what Monday brings. Will shops & outdoor venues be busy? Seems the jury is out. Will hairdressers, gyms & golf courses be busy – almost no doubt about it. Great for staff back in work!
As we come to the end of the working week, and a after enduring a year of lockdown and listening to all the other woes of the week, hopefully we can all have some time to relax by with those closest to us and concentrate on the positives we all have in our lives. Enjoy your break

Lancashire Business View reporting 350 local jobs are at risk at Rolls Royce if two Barnoldswick sites are consolidated. These are in addition to 200 planned cuts already announced. A real blow to the people affected, employees and local suppliers. #EconomicCrisis #redundancy
Leicester back in lockdown. 1,700 jobs to go in Airbus. Potentially 5,000 jobs to go at Upper Crust. Got to feel sorry for all those (and thousands of others) still being badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. #jobs #COVIDー19
Help for struggling businesses. Some positive news stories around but still grim for many businesses struggling to get through this pandemic. New legislation passed yesterday should help but only if directors hear about it! If you know anyone in difficulty, ask them to get advice

Company Insolvencies Q1 2020 Perhaps surprisingly the number of company insolvencies fell in the 1st quarter of 2020. However, there are reasons for this. lnkd.in/g4f-5Aw
