Time to sign off and say goodnight. Today in my home office it was a day working on art designs and in the background the Motown music/artists inspired the day. I have in life known many forms of music and respected talents. Motown in my opinion built some of the greatest artists in our music history. Yes so many African Americans made history proven by individual incredible talent. Never ceases to amaze me how much more liberal I have become as I've gotten older. I don't want to pull the ladder up behind me. Not for other women, immigrants, minorities or anyone else. Like the majority of my party, I want bigger ladders, more laddera, the bigger "tent."
Nothing wrong with it, but for whatever reason, the Dems often (historically speaking) don't get the messaging right. This cycle feels different. More positive. More hopeful. Maybe it's just desperation and fear masquerading as momentum? Whatever it is, if it results in taking back the House and dare I hope, the Senate, I will take it.
Long term, however, the Democratic Party needs to somehow find a unified voice that doesn't only appear once per generation in the form of an Obama. Thankfully, I am old. I will leave it to the young people to work out.

Wow! The bigots/racists defending their gov't choices are alive and hitting us. It's ok somewhat agreeing with free speech but original free speech came from a foundation embracing all people(s), including skin colors.

I am Irish Canadian. I have many in our family Indigenous members through decades of marriage/partnerships. How can anyone say their own abuse heritage? Such a foolish act of those who have not bonded/life blood say this? In any culture or race are those who abuse but never tell me it is the 'norm'. I stand with the First Nations people(s) not only in B.C. but throughout North America. The continent foreign invaders of their land(s) tried to kill off them with the genocide tool but THEY SURVIVED. Let them us all celebrate their centuries of existence. Genocide is a fools tool.
BC and all governments remain follies with only those in elected power control the masses. I will til my last breath conclude yesterday and tomorrow there is NO one party that benefits the masses. Democracy has created a trojan horse in our midst. An offered gift within defeat of all.
