I got access to a Windows 2025 server. Obviously I had to check if SQL Server 4.20 from 1993 works. And, of course it does!

So they're talking about re-opening the Appleton MN private prison, as an ICE detention facility. Well of course Minnesota would have the nation's largest ICE house.

Real shit right here. If you've got loved ones at home and you're on the road today maybe now's a good time to call and tell them you love them, eh?

Why would you waste your time learning to use a debugger? Are you planning to write bugs?

VMware and Hyper-V Challenge: Is there a single SMB/SME/Ent _private_ business out there without a single Microsoft product on-premises or in the cloud? Why? Because of the claim that .@VMware cannot be replaced by .@WindowsServer Hyper-V for "free". Most SMB/SME that are cloud averse have Windows Server licenses. Thus, they have access to Hyper-V at no cost. Those that are set up in hybrid mode will also have the requisite Windows Server licensing. Thus, access to Hyper-V. Virtually all Enterprises are running on Windows Server Datacenter via Enterprise Agreement so have Hyper-V at no cost and VM counts limited strictly by hardware. On top of that, many are running with Software Assurance which has all sorts of hybrid grants such as running Azure Stack HCI on-premises without the extra core tax. One of those grants is also no date limit portability for the VMs. Hyper-V is a very mature product. Yes, there's a few features missing relative to VMware like USB pass-through that can be solved by third party products (we use Fabulatech). But, on a pound for pound basis Hyper-V in standalone, clustered, Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), or Azure Stack HCI (AzSHCI) presents the best value for those looking to bail on .@Broadcom and VMware. .@Microsoft .@Azure #HyperV #WinServ #WindowsServer #S2D #AzSHCI

His hands languidly made their way up my body to my neck, lingering as a thumb traced my parted lips. He grasped the back of my head with one hand and removed the Apple Vision with the other. Warm light danced across my eyes. “Beautiful,” he said, seeing them for the first time.

Some of you asked why I thought love could be on the electromagnetic spectrum. Because you can measure it in hurts.
