@KieranMcC_SS creating entertainment, with the lack of live sport currently. A great & fun competition highlighting the depth of talent within West Cork 🙌🏻
🚨 BEST IN THE WEST FINAL!!!
In our search for West Cork's greatest sportsperson, we started with 16. Now, only two are left.
Today, it's West Cork's greatest rally driver Keith Cronin v Ireland's fastest-ever woman Phil Healy.

Isolated beach races are the new wind sprints meets. Keep training wherever you are as best as possible. The race meets will return soon but for now do your bit to stop the spread and flatten the curve 💪🏻

Looking forward to this one. Thanks a lot @mcwexford for the invite and sorting logistics!!
Well done @lecheileintl meet putting wind sprints on the program and giving sprinters the chance to run fast. The more meets that do this the more we raise the bar #neural #windy
Pretty sure this is the fastest 100m ever run in Ireland - Britain's Andy Robertson at the @lecheileintl, a wind-assisted 10.03.

Coming to the last, chasing a record, I’d choose @FeidhlimKelly on the 🎤 to get me over it.
A week on from her breakthrough 400m hurdle run at TLG, Deirdre Murray smashes the Leinster senior schools record with a 60.98 run in Santry. Well done Deirdre and coach @aideen_sinnott 🔥
Well deserved @JoeOjewumi100 for your two fast openers. Thanks to @go_fyt once again for their sponsorship of our athlete of the meet awards.
Special thanks to @TLeGaoithe and @go_fyt for the male athlete of the meet award, really appreciate it and the meet every year to help produce fast times, always really fun to compete in🙌🏾🦌
Build it and they will come. 7 European age group qualifiers in @TLeGaoithe this year. Why don’t we assist our athletes more to run fast and make our overall sprint community better! Great to see progress from 1 wind meet to 4. Next our regional and nationals! @irishathletics
First @TLeGaoithe, then @LeevaleAC, then @lecheileintl and now Galway County Board will run a wind sprint race as part of their county championships this Thursday in Galway. 100m and 100H/110H on the timetable.

Solid squad season opener in @TLeGaoithe on Saturday for 9 of the crew. 19 races between them, 3 wins and 2 PBs (@PeppardPaul 22.93 and @sophiebecker_ 11.90, 11.78w). Pretty decent sandwiches and tea as well.

Yes, this dive at the finish is awesome, but so is the name of the guy who did it: Infinite Tucker.
