Who remembers "Instant Ylides"? Aldrich used to sell 1:1 mixtures of dry sodium amide and a dry phosphonium salt. Just add solvent and voila. The next generation was KH and the phosphonium salt. What could go wrong? @BagPhos @SafeChem79
