Episode 2 made one point stand out to me: the hardest part is not making the bet, it is deciding what actually happened when the answer is ambiguous.
The investors kept coming back to the resolution rules. That matters far beyond prediction markets. If one agent pays another to deliver an API, research report, or piece of code, what happens when the buyer says “this does not meet the agreement” while the seller says “the job is done”?
A smart contract can enforce payment, but it cannot always judge whether the work satisfied a natural-language agreement. A single model or oracle creates another problem: whoever controls the verdict controls the outcome.
For an agentic economy, we need an adjudication layer where multiple independent validators can examine the evidence, reason about the agreement, and reach a shared verdict, with appeals when there is disagreement.
That is where @GenLayer fits. The prediction market in Episode 2 is just the example. The bigger problem is giving autonomous agents a neutral way to settle disputes without relying on a human court or a single decision-maker.

The trailer made me more curious about one thing: what happens when machines can actually settle disagreements instead of just following the same rules?
That feels bigger than a feature. It feels like infrastructure worth documenting, and I’m interested to see how @GenLayer turns that idea into something real across the rest of the series.
Now I want to see what breaks, what works, and what the next episodes reveal that the trailer can’t.

What I like about Mochi is that it actually gives the character a purpose. When GenLayer is hard to wrap your head around, having something that challenges you, remembers where you stopped, and pulls you back in makes the whole learning process feel more human.
I’d rather learn with something that talks back than read another thread and forget it five minutes later.

I used to think contributing to a community mostly meant posting in Discord and hoping someone noticed.
GenLayer changes that idea for me.

That part is easy to overlook.
We are building better payments, identity, interoperability and autonomous agents. But when two agents disagree about what actually happened, who decides?
That is where @GenLayer matters.
Bitcoin made money trustless. Ethereum made computation trustless. GenLayer is pushing toward trustless adjudication, where multiple validators reason independently and agree on meaning rather than identical wording.
The unhappy path is not a corner case. At $9T in agent-driven transactions, it becomes infrastructure.
