4th grade loved Berry Song by Michaela Goade as we celebrate Native American Heritage Month! We uncovered the personification in the text and translated the similes from what they say to what they mean. Then we coded Ozobots to follow that same “translation” path! @TISD_Libraries
❄️ After reading Sneezy the Snowman by Maureen Wright, our 1st graders explored thermal energy in a hands-on heat source lab! 🔥 They turned bread into toast, melted M&Ms, used friction to melt ice, and watched crayons melt with a blow dryer. @TISD_Libraries @TISDWEST
