Gary doesnt get replaced. Gary is going run a 3 staff crew and start leading small projects for course improvements. All those projects that are ‘wait til fall’.. Gary is on it. Doom and gloom is bs. Guys like Gary are being wasted by sitting on a mower
What Gary brings to the industry can’t be duplicated.
But Gary is being replaced.
Blame autonomous mowers.
From the publisher’s pen: What happens without Gary?

About 300 hrs on this gaskets and grommets. Old gasket was almost hard as a rock. #preventativemaintenance
Pure cutting units brought to you by data. I can adjust numbers when I have them. Coupled with GS3 ball, I dont need to guess, I can see it. #datawins
I don't think I need that much data. I'm not sure what all of that data would infer that I didn't already have an inclination of. Just because you can quantify something doesn't mean it has actual value. #wastedeffort Onward!
This is why maintenance reels are so important. Mine are within .010 of in service reels. Quick roller swap. Bedknife survived with .004 off the top and .003 off the face. Fwy unit was back cutting in about 25-30 minutes

Make no mistake Quality of Cut(QoC) and Quality of Aftercut(QoA)
are visual metrics that drive the optimization of true and smooth metrics concerning ball roll. Lower numbers mean better roll. Trust me these are fantastic readings and they happen regularly at my favorite muni, Clearwater County Club. – at Siesta Key, FL

Today is Thank your Equipment Manager day. Without that guy, you’re just growing green stuff.
Grow it, and let him show it. Like Yin and Yang, two opposite minds, who if you respect it, makes your job easier.
Biggest takeaway here is that the number doesnt mean a damn thing. CU setup matters. Geometry is key. Dont know who needs to hear this, but stop chasing a magical HOC number…..It is irrelevant

All is quiet on the @TOURChamp front.
“Mechanico Kev” has been killing it on the @SIPGrinders1902, keeping everything cylindrical, parallel, & uniform.
It’s showing on the course in the form of uniform eHOC’s & buttery smooth playing surfaces.
Approaches are at greens heights.

Sunday shenanigans to finish up touchup grinds on our fairway units
It’s easier and quicker to maintain your reels within a good quality of cut range, than having to bring them back from too far gone.
Speed, consistency, and ease of use all make possible by @SIPGrinders1902 💪
