Honestly, @ManUtd are in that bad of a state I sincerly believe even if Sir Alex came back tomorrow he would be getting sacked within 6 month too. The only way out of all this is massive huge protests. We need to get the glazers and ratcliffe out the club, end this new stadium shite, concentrate on the team and rebuilding from the beginning, all this history we have and some billionaires Swan in and chuck it all away to improve their bank balance. We cant let it happen, sitting round hoping something will change, it won't, every single one of us match going fans need to start doing something collective, otherwise the clubs gone to the money men. Wankers

Good morning @AndyBurnham. Your support for Jackdaw drilling was one of the best decisions you've made. We need more common sense like that, not politicians bowing to the tree huggers. We're a country struggling with low wages and sky high living costs. Ordinary working people simply can't afford prices like these. Enough is enough!

Finally, someone at Manchester United with the fucking bollocks to speak out and tell it how it is! 👏 Massive respect to Lisandro Martínez. He's put his own career on the line here, and he knows it. Ronaldo spoke out. He was gone. Amorim spoke his mind. He was gone. Now Martínez has dared to question those above him, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are consequences for him too. How many managers, players and years of failure will it take before people realise the problems at Manchester United run far deeper than whoever is standing on the touchline? For far too long, the people making the decisions have escaped the accountability that players and managers face every single week. Martínez isn't saying the players are blameless. He's saying EVERYONE needs to take responsibility, including those sitting comfortably upstairs. As a lifelong United supporter, I've watched this club slowly lose its identity. We don't need more people protecting their careers and telling us what the hierarchy wants us to hear. We need more people who genuinely give a fuck about Manchester United. Well said, @LisandrMartinez. You've earned even more respect from me today. 👏🔴
Lisandro Martínez did NOT hold back after United's loss to Atletico 😬👀

Footballers nowadays genuinely don't give a fuck whether they win, lose or draw. It's becoming more obvious every single week, but tonight summed it up perfectly. This reflects most clubs too. Every week they should be coming off with sweat dropping off them for the money they are picking up Too busy being best mates off the pitch, living in their own little millionaire bubble, collecting obscene wages regardless of results. Meanwhile, the ordinary working man gives up his time, travels the length and breadth of the country, spends money he can barely afford and lives every kick of that football. Do you genuinely think these players give a flying fuck about those supporters? Not a chance. They'll be laughing and joking together tonight while the fans travel home gutted. Would they perform the same if their wages reflected the performance? Say if they get a 4/10 they get 40% of their wage 8/10 they get 80%, you'd see a different game over night. The disconnect between modern footballers and the people who make this game what it is has never been greater. The fans care more in 90 minutes than some of these players appear to care all season. And that's the saddest part of modern football. @NUFC should refund every single fan that travelled down there tonight.

A long read, but its the truth! I genuinely think we are watching football loyalty slowly die and I don't know what replaces it. I've followed Man United home and away for decades. Thousands and thousands of miles, trains, cars, coaches, hotels, stupid kick off times, days off work and an absolutely frightening amount of money. But forget the money for a minute because you can always earn more money. You can't get the time back. Weekends away from your wife and kids, family things you've missed, holidays planned around fixtures, getting home at stupid o'clock then getting up for work a few hours later. And none of us were forced to do it. We did it because we fucking loved it. When the fixtures came out you didn't think do I fancy that game? You thought right, how am I getting there? That's the difference. And lately I've noticed more and more people I've known through football for years saying the same thing. "They can have my ticket." That's not normal. These aren't people who started supporting United because they won a trophy last year. These are lads who've been everywhere following them. And before rival fans jump on with the glory hunter stuff, that doesn't really wash anymore either. Yes, Manchester United were ridiculously successful. We were spoilt for years and I'll never pretend otherwise. But we've been mediocre for the best part of 12 years now. There are kids going to Old Trafford today who've never seen Manchester United win the league. For some of them, United being bang average is basically all they've ever known. What glory are they hunting? They're still going. Their dads and mams are still taking them. They're still buying the shirts, travelling away and growing up supporting United. So this isn't about demanding we win the league every year. Football fans can handle losing. Fuck me, we've proved that. It's everything else. You can have a Saturday night kick off now where you're £100 for a train, £100 for a hotel, ticket, food, drink and you're basically writing off 24 hours of your life. Sometimes you're fucked for work the next day as well. And increasingly you sit there thinking... What am I actually getting back from this? Not trophies. I don't mean that. I mean from the relationship with the club. Because it doesn't feel like a relationship anymore. It feels like a transaction. You're a membership number. A ticket account. A customer. And if after 20, 30, 40 years you finally say fuck this, you can have my ticket, it doesn't really matter. Someone else will take it. Probably someone who'll spend more money while they're there. They'll buy the shirt, go in the Megastore, buy the experience, take the photos and maybe pay hundreds more for something that used to simply be part of going to the football. Financially that might make perfect sense. But I think football is playing a very dangerous game. Because the people you're slowly replacing aren't customers. They're supporters. They're the people who went when it was brilliant and went when it was shit. The people who knew everyone around their seat. The people whose dad took them and who now take their own kids. The people who didn't need a "matchday experience" because the fucking match WAS the experience. And I don't even think this is just Manchester United. I'm hearing supporters from other clubs saying exactly the same things. Maybe we're just further down the road than some. Football is becoming an event. A day out. A product. Something you experience once and stick on Instagram. And maybe that's just the future. Maybe old fuckers like me need to accept it 😂 But here's the bit I'd worry about if I ran a football club. People aren't as angry anymore. They're just losing interest. There's a massive difference. Angry supporters still care. They protest. They complain. They sing about the owners. They demand change. When someone who's arranged their entire life around football for 30 years suddenly says... "Know what? I can't be arsed going."

That's different. Because once someone breaks that habit they might suddenly realise they can spend that £200 or £300 somewhere else. They can have a weekend with their kids. Go away with the wife. Watch their local non-league team. Coach their bairn's football team. Or just sit in the fucking house and watch it on the telly 😂 And life carries on. That's the bit I don't think football clubs understand. For years they probably thought our loyalty was unconditional. Maybe we thought it was as well. I'm not sure it is anymore. Football won't run out of people willing to buy tickets. Manchester United certainly won't. They'll fill the seats. They'll sell the shirts. They'll sell the hospitality. They'll sell the "experience". The money will keep rolling in. But I genuinely wonder whether one day they'll look around these incredible stadiums full of paying customers and realise that somewhere along the way, while everyone was obsessed with squeezing another pound out of football... they lost the supporters who made it what it was in the first place. And once that generation walks away, I'm not sure you can just buy another one.

🚨 **PROTEST DETAILS SUNDAY** OUTSIDE THE BISHOPS BLAIZE ⏰ 3PM “A LINE HAS BEEN CROSSED” Manchester United are sanctioning and banning loyal, generational Reds without, clear and compelling evidence. These owners want rid of lifelong matchgoers. Their strategy is clear to see. It’s a cull! We challenged them. We demanded the unproven suspensions stop. They haven’t listened. SHOW THE EVIDENCE OR LIFT THE BANS No more threats. No more draconian sanctions. No more treating loyal Reds like criminals. This is not somebody else’s fight. It’s ours as matchgoers. Or soon, it’ll be us. 🔴 DERBY DAY PROTEST 📍 THE BISHOPS BLAIZE ⏰ 3PM SUNDAY Then we head to the ground. Every Red. Every group. Every generation. STAND WITH YOUR FELLOW REDS. The 1958 🇾🇪
