Research says players remember about 50% of what they see in raw video.
Add video analysis and that rises to about 80%.
@PurdueSoccer’s Women's Soccer head coach Richard Moodie read that and thought: “Well, that’s what we’ve got to do.” 🧵
The biggest change isn’t the graphics.
It’s the conversation.
Showing the back four and keeper moving as a unit, instead of singling out one player’s mistake, gets players talking more in film sessions.
His advice to other coaches:
“If you’re not using Tactic, you’re probably missing opportunities to help your players better understand what it is you’re trying to do.”

Big thanks to my namesake Pedro Mendonça (@_pedromea), assistant to Camilo Speranza at Liverpool FC (Montevideo), for sharing this progression game (GK+7v7+GK + 1 neutral player) — focused on positional heights, third-man runs and quick combinations.
This coaching staff is the future of world football. Football knowledge, clarity and human quality.

When you have more than 22 players in training, use them as neutral players.
Keep everyone involved. Keep the game flowing.
