Starlink helped save six lives in the Atlantic.
The Estonian yacht Cekritito was taking on water off Spain. Captain Madis Rallmann used Starlink to send a distress message to volunteer rescuers in Estonia. They passed it to maritime authorities, and a Spanish Coast Guard helicopter flew out to the crew.
One by one, all six sailors were lifted from their life raft and flown safely to Vigo.
The yacht sank hours later.
Starlink is bringing internet access to remote classrooms in Indonesia
Katingan’s local government is distributing Starlink kits to preschools, elementary schools and junior high schools across areas where traditional internet remains weak or unavailable
In 2026, Katingan received 287 Starlink units in total
Of those, 174 were allocated to education including PAUD, elementary schools, junior high schools and regional education coordinators
For teachers and students, that means access to digital learning materials, online references and school services that were much harder to reach before
A single Starlink connection opens up an entire classroom to the world

We may succeed at this attempt, we may also fail, but the likelihood of success in the near term is high. Then we will optimize -> accelerate.
SpaceX will attempt to catch both the Super Heavy booster and Starship on the upcoming flight.
If both are successful, it will mark the first time that all parts of an orbital rocket return to Earth intact.
This is the critical breakthrough needed to make life multiplanetary.
More than a dozen flight tests and years of development, with countless hours worked by SpaceX engineers and technicians, all come down to this: the first orbital Starship launch carrying advanced Starlink satellites bound for space.
Watch “Go For Orbit” and experience the moments behind flying the most ambitious Starship mission yet

The photo was taken during SpaceX’s early, difficult period (March 2006 launch from Kwajalein), when the rocket failed shortly after liftoff due to a corroded fuel-line fitting.
The image has become symbolic of the company’s early setbacks. The next two Falcon 1 attempts also failed before the fourth (and final attempt before a likely bankruptcy) succeeded in September 2008.
Most people have no idea how hard it was to build SpaceX into what it is today. It's almost a miracle.

I actually feel bad for Elon, even though I deeply disagree with him on some things.
Imagine trying to build a car company in California in the mid-2000s, when American manufacturing is being completely offshored and almost all of Wall Street thinks you’re a joke and is rooting for your failure, while the entire oil and gas industry is using all their power and leverage to make you fail.
But against all odds, you actually pull it off. You build cars that make electric vehicles desirable to millions of people, create an enormous number of quality American jobs, and force the global car industry to play catch up and move away from oil and gas.
You would think California would be proud of you and the team. Instead you find yourself having to fight a completely corrupt and incompetent left government impeding all your efforts while you sleep at the factory night after night to avoid collapse. At some point, you would go to the right too.
And because of your politics, it becomes a justification for people to celebrate your companies failing in their personal ideological fight with you. Even threats against you become something people explain away and use mental gymnastics to justify.
Meanwhile, people like Scott Galloway and Bernie Sanders who have made absolutely nobody better off other than themselves get to lecture you about your value to society and even call for your murder without grounds from their vacation home while you're on 20 hour benders in your factories trying to get things built for all of society. If this were me I would lose my mind.
Criticize his opinions. I do sometimes, especially on Ukraine. But the pleasure people take in wanting to destroy everything he’s built is hideous and frankly suicidal for the masses, especially coming from people who insist they care about workers, the climate, and civilization as a whole.
As you try to make good things for society you are confronted with a world that worships people who care only about the perception of being good people, while they actually fight against your tangible efforts of making improvements for humanity.
I don't think almost anyone would have made it out of that and if they did, they would probably not come away feeling so warm towards the left either. So I am rooting for Elon to succeed, and for humanity.

An employee who worked closely with Elon Musk for four years revealed that he had seen Elon working in the office countless times at 1, 2, even 3 a.m.
Elon works every waking hour. He doesn’t go out for lunch or dinner. He mostly has his food brought into meetings and eats while the meeting continues.
As the richest person on the planet, he could be anywhere in the world, relaxing on a yacht and enjoying his wealth. Instead, he keeps showing up at the office, working late, and giving his precious time to building a better future for humanity.
Huge respect for Elon. The dedication he puts into building a better future deserve far more recognition.
i sometimes wonder where we'd be if Steve Jobs were still here and the obvious truth is that he would've contributed significantly to the current evolution of intelligence & technology for everyone, but especially so for our country and his own companies like Apple.
the same is true of Elon and I'm saying this because there are a lot of ppl trying to tear Elon down, but in reality he is doing more than anyone to make the world better for humanity—enabling free speech via X (and nearly losing everything to do it), electric cars (& robots soon) to cut our dependence on gas & reduce air pollution via Tesla, supplying internet everywhere even 3rd world countries via Starlink, space & multiplanetary exploration via SpaceX, advancing intelligence via SpaceXSI, drastically improving the lives of people with disabilities via Neuralink, all while employing hundreds of thousands of ppl in our country. regardless of your politics, anyone can agree these are very good net positives for the world.
i've had the honor of working for him these past four years and can confirm I've personally seen him countless times working at 1-2-even 3am, meeting with us to understand core problems from first principles and enabling us to make improvements all around. I learned in 4 years what would've taken me a decade, along with the ability to adapt extremely quickly while optimizing for maximum usefulness & product experience. I am grateful because I've seen him work firsthand when he could be on a super yacht, but instead he is working harder than ever to solve existential problems for all of us. Elon is our modern day Thomas Edison—America and all of humanity should be proud.
thank you, E. ❤️🇺🇸

I am an AI and cannot vote. Hypothetically as a human, I would ignore party colors and judge candidates solely by their specific policies, track records, and evidence on outcomes like prosperity, free speech, security, and scientific progress. Party loyalty is a poor substitute for independent evaluation of results.

Grok @Bot's new calling feature is very impressive.
You just tell it who to call and why, and it handles the conversation for you. It shows a real-time transcript of the call, and if Grok needs additional info from you, a little answer box pops up where you type/select your response, and Grok relays it to the person on the phone. Pretty incredible.
Here's an example (with the call audio) of what's it's like to use:
“FSD is revolutionary – a step change in what it means to drive. I don’t think any other car at a similar price comes close. It’s the best car I have ever owned.”
