Live from Lisbon 🇵🇹 where UfM Senior Policy Advisor, Frederic de Dinechin, opened the regional consultation workshop on digitalisation of the Water-energy-food-ecosystems (WEFE) nexus.
Co-organised w/ @GWPMed, @PrimaProgram, @CmccClimate & @usal, this regional consultation will allow us to craft recommendations for promoting digital transformation in the sector & develop actionable science that builds resilience to water scarcity ♻️

Today I had the chance to participate in the @TalanoaWater 3rd National Scientific Workshop for Stakeholders, organized by our colleagues from the @AUB_Lebanon. Unfortunately, I could not be there in person this year, but I am happy to see that the project is expanding! #Water

Our most recent @TalanoaWater workshop implemented a card-based #seriousgame for agriculture and water management in Lebanon's #Bekaa valley. The #workshop gathered #stakeholders from governmental organizations, NGOs, @FAO, @UNESCWA, farmers, researchers, & policy advisors.
Serious games, like that of @PrimaProgram @TalanoaWater, are transforming #policymaking by engaging #stakeholders in dynamic, simulated environments. In Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, our #seriousgame workshop facilitated #watermanagement discussions with key national stakeholders.
