We’re honored to support the Special Olympics at @CatholicUniv! We’re proud of these incredible athletes and our community who cheered them on with us. We can’t wait for more opportunities to get involved!

Last week I stopped in to @wmata's Virginia HQ for @MetroTransitPD's first ever Youth Advisory Council meeting in the Commonwealth. New connections were made as youth got an inside look at the Emergency Operations Center and MTPD video center.

A powerful start for our Virginia youth mentorship program! 💙 Our first-ever meeting was a big success, with 25 high school students joining our officers and civilian team at Metro’s Eisenhower Office Building. Mentees even got to meet our comfort dog, Binki. 🐾

Each year, we look forward to our holiday bus event, and we thank everyone for coming out and making it so special. Watch the highlights here and stay tuned for more outreach events in the new year. Happy holidays! ❄️ 🚌

We’re tracking potential snow, sleet, and rain tomorrow. We’re fully staffed and stocked to treat weather conditions and move you through the region. Please use caution when traveling and entering & exiting stations. ❄️ 🌧️ Visit: wmata.com/snow

From my family to yours, wishing you a Happy Holiday season. Hoping you find time to relax, spend time with family & friends and find joy in the season. Also wishing you all a safe, healthy & positive 2026!  It’s been an amazing year @wmata & there’s no slowing down in 2026!
