If Portugal wins the next world cup...
Can we conclude that Ronaldo was the reason they hadn't won it over the last 20 years?

And yet some Ronaldo fans are expecting a sendoff game
Cristiano is and has always been a disgrace when it comes to character
🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Cristiano Ronaldo announced his INTERNATIONAL RETIREMENT without informing Portugal manager Jorge Jesus! 🤯
The two have NOT SPOKEN since September 30.
Cristiano Ronaldo informed Portuguese Football Federation president Pedro Proença of his decision, but NOT Jorge Jesus.
Cristiano no longer wanted to play under Jorge Jesus and announced his retirement just before the squad announcement to avoid being called up.
Jorge Jesus had planned to select Ronaldo again and was CAUGHT COMPLETELY OFF GUARD by the announcement.

GREATEST MANAGER OF ALL TIME 👑🐐
🚨🇵🇹 Jorge Jesus reacts to Cristiano Ronaldo’s retirement from international football.
“Cristiano is a global icon, an example for Portugal and the national team.
“I had a huge photo of him put up in our auditorium so that all the young players could look up to him every single day.
“I asked him to continue with me because I needed him by my side.
“But I have to accept his decision.
“He will always have a place in the hearts of the Portuguese people.
“He will always be an icon of Portuguese football.”
