1. Surrogate ‘had a lovely blow dry…made her own shampoo’. 2. She ‘looked after him impeccably in the womb…basically being low stress throughout’. 3. George enjoyed Mexico with friends/family, but got lonely at month 3 when baby ‘stopped being an obliging newborn’. Vile. 🤮
Hairstylist to the A-list, George Northwood has a successful business with supermodels, Vogue editors and Gwyneth Paltrow as clients. But one thing has always been missing from his life. This is his story

60th anniversary of the Aberfan disaster today. My pinned tweet for the last 5 years is about Nansi Williams, a hero of that awful day. ⬇️
I came across an old article. A relative of a Welsh woman who died in 1966 was launching a campaign, ultimately hoping more people in Wales would know her name. Don't think I've many Welsh followers but I would like people in Ireland to know her name. /1

And replacing residents with non doctors when there are 3:1, 4:1, 7:1, 10:1, 15:1 application ratios for rotational training posts and very well qualified doctors who can't get on them is just bonkers & an act of self harm by NHS leadership

I cannot imagine how awful it must be for something like this to happen then to also realise it is now public property and the horrific death of their loved one is a joke, his final terrified moments just a meme to be casually shared for a slight chuckle. It's a callous age.

The gentleman being harrassed by the racist is great. He owned the stupid racist nob with his response to the question 'Where you living?' he retorted 'your head!'. Class gentleman, kept his cool.

I’d like to say I’m surprised how little coverage this report release has received compared to the MBRRACE-UK report last month… but then - not really. Again, trends worsening, no improvement. 888 baby deaths in 2025 reviewed to have been potentially avoidable. 😔
NEW: More than a fifth of baby deaths last year may have been preventable, with this estimate considered “a minimum”, @mbrrace analysis of thousands of care reviews has concluded The same issues with care are being repeatedly identified, the report says hsj.co.uk/patient-safety/at-…

Spot on. In a society where ageism and gender bias persists, the privileged celebrity menopause grift, (enabled and abetted by media, politicians, medical societies etc) does us ‘women of a certain age’ no favours.
yes. how much do all those menopause champions/stickers cost and what is the evidence they do any good? instead far better to employers to work out if there is a sex bias in promotions and work out why

My followers will be aware that I am not an uncritical supporter of the medical profession (though most of my opprobrium is ofc directed at gynaes). However, what is happening to general practice makes me despair. Without a robust, well-resourced primary care sector, the 1/4
