A peak life advice from Alex Hormozi:
“No matter what your goal is, you will suffer to achieve it. So pick a goal big enough it's worth suffering for.”

Stop frying your brain with endless short form content. Read long, complicated, books. Especially novels. Cultivate the ability to think deeply. To focus for long periods. Stare into space and enjoy boredom. Do tasks without any media playing in the background. Resist the urge to reach for your phone every time you feel uncomfortable. Get used to being with uncomfortable emotions instead. Wonder and think about the questions you have instead of asking AI. Become deeply present with everyone around you. Your ability to focus, pay attention, to think deeply, is one of your most valuable assets. Reclaim the immense beauty of experiencing your life directly instead of living it through a screen.

Everyone needs to know what actually happened in Serbia.
Instead of students just protest against their government, the students organized themselves into a student list and ran in elections against their government—and they have just won.
Dear Serbia, congratulations on your victory; you have just opened a new door in protesting. This is history

Major cheat code for life: realizing you can just decide you're "a runner" or "an early riser" or "a writer" or whatever. Start doing the thing, and you become the thing.

I wonder about the time gap between the fire, the call and the appearance of fire services as well.
Btw do fire safety regulations that apply to offices apply to govt offices as well?
SMOKE OVER RAISINA👀
Thick black smoke rose from North Block on Monday morning. Delhi Fire Services got the call at around 11 AM and rushed SIX fire tenders.
Delhi Fire Services says a sudden short-circuit sparked a fire in an AC boiler on North Block's rooftop while welding and dismantling work was on.
But the exact circumstances are NOT yet officially established.

For code to be considered law, it has to be open. But codification of law with software is resulting in black box governance, where one won't know what is the code? We are ending up with Kafka's trial where you are punished because they won't tell you what the law is.

Election Commission’s software has made a massive blunder. It’s translating Hindi/Urdu names by treating them as if they were English.
For example, the name was Muhammad Iqbal Beg, but the software turned it into “Mohammad Iqbal Bheek Mangte Hain”.
Another example: A woman’s name was Phool Kali Devi, and the software changed it to “Murkh Kali Devi” .
Absolute chaos, what’s going on?

Gold is an element so it can’t be manufactured using ordinary chemistry, you must change the nucleus of another element such as mercury or plutonium. The most effective process which is through nuclear transmutation, at present CERN is the only place this can be done and they produced 0.000000000029gm of gold over 4 years. Marathon fusion has developed a process that transforms mercury 198 into mercury 197 which decays into stable gold 197. No verifiable amount has been produced using this method or how much can be produced at what cost.

Higher US returns and India's complex rules are the real problem.
India needs simpler processes and clearer regulations.

as bad as things have gotten in the past 4 days, they are going to get a lot worse before they get better. security leaders, never let a crisis go to waste: please go to your boards and ask for help right now. not for ai, for the basics. (we need to hold on for ~18 months.)

out of the 5 tenders eMudhra has won, as per my database, 3 of them are single-financial bid tenders.
eMudhra had no competition.
i wonder why
If you'd like to start an #emudhra competitor in India, a CCA license requires 50 crores for companies and 5 crores for Individuals/firms.
The rest of the guidelines are at cca.gov.in/sites/files/pdf/g…

UPDATE TO THIS: Got a call from HDFC. They clarified that as an individual I do not need to file EDF and the mail was an oversight, and that the payment has been credited. Cool.
So, personally, I am ok.
But I do think many of the points below are still valid:
The unnecessary burden on small exporters, the painful process, and the confusion created by inadequate communication.
The EDF (Export Declaration Form) rules are now in effect, and it seems like RBI and banks have conspired to create a new hell. Or actually 5 hells.
I consult for an American company. Raised October invoice. Received the Inward remittance. And bang! Mail from @HDFC_Bank detailing everything needed before the payment can be processed.
Let me tell you what the 5 hells are:
1. The hell of confusion – RBI clarified last month that the EDF rules do not apply to individuals. But looks like they haven’t told the banks. And CAs also don’t seem to know. There’s no official communication on who is exempt. Last I checked, I was an individual. No company, no LLP. But HDFC still wants me to file the EDF to credit my payment.
2. The hell of complexity – See the attached pic of the form the bank has sent in excel. It has 5 sheets. To be filled and submitted. Some abstruse acronyms like “AD” - no clue what it means. Some fields are mandatory. Some fields are to be filled by the bank. No idea which is what. And it needs a physical signature. Which leads to...
3. The hell of paperwork - They also sent a pdf with a bunch of request letters. I’m supposed to choose the right letter, print, sign, scan and submit. Creating more paper today is incredibly silly. And, I suppose, someone in the bank will have to upload all this somewhere. Reminds me of those hand-filled immigration forms. Pointless.
4. The hell of repetition – At least for me, most of the details are constant. One client, one payment. If it’s a one-time exercise, fine. I’ll grit my teeth and get it done. But no. These details have to be given month after month. Else… no payment will be credited.
5. The hell of unpreparedness – It would have been simple enough for RBI or HDFC to create an online portal for this. With dropdowns, saved formats, contextual help, etc. to at least make this easy. But that would be too convenient, no? So, they’ve chosen to dump the entire burden on the taxpayer.
I have no opinion or understanding of why this is needed. Maybe it is critical information. Okay! But why make the process so confusing and painful?
And poor communication has meant that the banks have just passed on the pain to the exporter, and even CAs can’t help.
Basically RBI & HDFC feel I should consult less, and comply more. Maybe my client will also agree :)
Since the entire internet cares about critical certificates today, a reminder @UPI_NPCI has been running on an expired cert since Sep 2025.

Trust me on this: At some point, you have to become the person who changes your own life. Believe that your choices still matter, that you have agency, that you can move the story forward. Let people doubt you. Your job is to answer with action until the doubt looks stupid.
