I found a new RCE bug in PHP, missed by previous auditing teams. It’s unpatched in PHP v8.5.12

Coding isn't dead. But coding alone is. AI writes the code now. The skills that matter: → Communication → Public speaking → Explaining tradeoffs → Asking the right questions → Writing clearly → Saying no → Ownership In 2026, soft skills ARE the hard skills."

After 5 weeks of matches, gameplay in FC 27 is genuinely more fun and competitive than past few years. Also, Animations and graphics are much better. Just fix Career Mode issues, squash the bugs, and drop some new face scans, and we’re golden #FC27 🎮🔥 What do you think?

FC27 isn't a bad game, it's the players who bend over for the meta that make the game unejoyable and boring. Don't think I've played a single rivals game today that hasn't included Adayemi, Stanway, Kika, Lopez, Garcia and the other usual suspects #FC27

Anthropic may have just klled REA. Users are reporting that Claude now hits a safety check when asked to use REA (Reverse Engineer Anything) for detailed reverse-engineering work, even after completing the research. REA itself is an open-source MCP tool that lets AI coding agents inspect software locally, trace how features work, and use that information to build compatible implementations

My timeline is filled with people wanting PvE DMZ. Other people telling people that want PvE to grow up and stop crying, or to play another game. I think people don't understand the VAST amount of people that don't want to play PvP in most games. Game companies have it because it creates a world that enhances the percieved value of microtransactions, but the reality is... people just want to play and have fun. Not everything has to be about beating the next man or playing for your life every time you turn a console on.

We had a Linux server that showed two successful SSH logins from an external IP overnight. The strange part was that there were no failed password attempts before them. The attacker got in cleanly. So I checked the SSH logs properly. Both sessions said: Accepted publickey That meant we were not dealing with a guessed password. I pulled the fingerprint from the logs and compared it with the keys in: /home/deploy/.ssh/authorized_keys There was only one key there. And it matched. The comment on the key was: deploy@old-build That name sounded familiar, so we checked our records. The build server it belonged to had been retired months ago. But nobody had removed its SSH key from this production server. I checked the timestamp on authorized_keys. The key had been sitting there since November 2025. So this was not some new persistence the attacker had just created. It was an old trust relationship we had forgotten about. That was actually worse in a different way. I checked the login history and confirmed both sessions came from the same external IP. Then I looked for files touched during those sessions. A backup copy of the application’s .env file had been created under /opt/api/. That immediately raised another concern because environment files often contain things like database credentials, API keys and application secrets. At that point we disabled the deployment account, removed the stale key, rotated the application secrets and started checking every other server that might still trust the same old build key. The lesson from this one was simple. Not every compromise starts with malware. Sometimes the attacker just finds a credential or key that your own environment forgot existed. Passwords expire. Employees leave. Servers get retired. But SSH keys can quietly sit in authorized_keys for years if nobody is actually reviewing them. That is why key rotation and access reviews matter. The attacker did not need to break SSH. We had already left the door open.

I spoke a bit last week on how Champs, Rivals and Squad Battles are dead modes, out dated and need a revamp. In the interest of fairness, I just want to speak today on how good Live Events are, both PvE and PvP. Firstly, shorter halves is a game changer. 4 Min halves should be standard across the modes. Secdondly, there is such a good mix between sweaty games (Gauntlet) and casual games. The DKT strikes a perfect balance between playing to win, for fun, for objectives, to progress evos, to test out new players, formations and tactics. It's mostly a good balance of opponent level, and just generally a good time. EA should focus more on this kind of style in FUT, in my opinion

I've been reviewing a lot of code written by Opus 5.5, and it still seems to make a lot of bad software engineering decisions. The kind that will accumulate/calcify into unmaintainable software over time. IMO even the agents will struggle to maintain vibecoded software.
