⚖️ TAT Performance Report 2026 ⚖️ 📌 The @TaxAppealug issued its performance report for the period ended 30th June 2026. 📍 A total of 365 disputes were resolved, a 37.5% year on year increase. 📍The disputes unlocked a total of UGX 766 Billion, a 52% year on year increase.

📍The 177 cases resolved in mediation unlocked UGX 202.5 Billion. URA realized UGX 32 Billion & UGX 171 Billion was vacated. 📍TAT set a target of unlocking UGX 650 Billion & unlocked UGX 766 Billion. 📍The case backlog for FY 27 is 463 cases with a value of UGX 1.5 Trillion.

📍The average time for resolving a dispute at TAT increased to 12.7 months from the date of filling. 📍Of the 122 rulings delivered, URA had a success rate of 52% & Taxpayers had a 45% success rate.
