Mayor Jondavid “JD” Longo of Slippery Rock, Butler County, PA has been appointed by U.S. Senator Dave McCormick to serve on the Western Region U.S. Service Academy Nominations Advisory Board for a 2nd year. This role involves evaluating applications, conducting interviews, and recommending qualified candidates from Pennsylvania for nominations to the nation’s top service academies, including the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
