That sounds nice.

I could… take you out to dinner?
Kate Kane (@RedHeadedKane) profile pictureKate Kane@RedHeadedKane6 Mar 2023

Did you miss me?

That’s… pretty complicated. But you like it?

No. Absolutely not. So you got the people who host the postings. They take a portion usually, and then you have the job type, how much you charge specifically, how much extra someone is willing to pay, what extra dangers there might be.

It’s not just one flat sum?
πŸ’€πŸ’©L. (@BetterThanSlade) profile pictureπŸ’€πŸ’©L.@BetterThanSlade5 Mar 2023
Depends on a lot of factors.
1
241
Huh. How much does someone make for that kind of work?
πŸ’€πŸ’©L. (@BetterThanSlade) profile pictureπŸ’€πŸ’©L.@BetterThanSlade5 Mar 2023
Nope.

Doesn’t that get kinda boring after a while? Just doing the same thing.
πŸ’€πŸ’©L. (@BetterThanSlade) profile pictureπŸ’€πŸ’©L.@BetterThanSlade5 Mar 2023
Well, yeah. But mostly the unaliving stuff.

I mean, I heard you were a mercenary. But people don’t pay you to do other things, too?

No fun in that :)

You… why? I just want to help. Unless it involves killing people.

β€œJanet! It’s great to see you.” Darcy stepped forward to hug @flightyfashions, too excited to hold herself back. β€œWant to get coffee, so we can catch up?”

Okay, I’m just going to accept the fact that you know things I don’t. Otherwise, you’re going to give me a headache. Who am I distracting? And why?
