Well, it has a quick-release setup, as Franz explains. Remove the small panel, plug the wiper in, then detach it when you don't need it.
I can see the appeal for dry track days, when you want the cleanest aero setup and every last bit of performance. Pretty clever.

Yesterday was Elon’s greatest magic trick.
It got everybody believe an amazing technological gap had just been made.
I got fooled too.
At first, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I was so excited.
And don’t get me wrong , the technology, the precision at which the car did what it did, was fabulous.
However, it was not a car doing it.
And that is the true, Machiavellic genius of Elon.
There is no flying car.
There is no car at all.
It was an empty shell. As light as possible. No seats. Nothing.
Full of gas tanks.
With a maximum of 2 secs of thrust usage.
In other words, it was a drone.
A drone with a shell that looked like a car.
Imagine if it had been a square piece of metal instead.
You would have said “nice”.
The truth is, it is nothing more than that.
It was not the car that you will see in the street. It was just a piece of light metal, that had the same body as the one you wil buy.
The technology exists since a long time.
If nobody did it, it’s not that they didn’t think about it’s it’s because it is not sustainable.
It is not achievable.
So why were we fooled ?
Because most people can’t imagine the biggest entrepreneur and genius of our century would have put millions into a show and be ruthless enough to put a fake car in a demonstration with the goal of selling something that will have nothing to do with what he is showing.
It was a show. A spectacle. Pure manipulation. Ruthless, immoral marketing.
The whole “ socialism vs capitalism” or “Europe vs America” we are seeing is the result of a fabulously done propaganda.
The car doesn’t fly.
It never will.
Most importantly,
there wasn’t any car on that show.
But the brainwashed idiots that we are will rush to buy it, waiting for another two years ( 9 have passed already since the preorders), only to receive something that has nothing to do with what we have seen.
Expect the shell.
But in 2026, it seems it is what we are. Empty shells for which entertainment and lies are enough to make us dance like apes.
Porsche maybe didn’t do a flying demonstration.
But at least they will deliver exactly what they have shown. And it will drive better than any Tesla ever will ( especially if it weights two fugging tons).

Kimberly Guilfoyle została wczoraj odwołana ze stanowiska ambasadorki USA w Grecji. Biały Dom podjął decyzję o jej natychmiastowym usunięciu z placówki dyplomatycznej w Atenach z powodu serii głośnych skandali finansowych, korupcyjnych oraz obyczajowych, które w ostatnich tygodniach ujawnił dziennik The Wall Street Journal.
1. Korupcja i handel wpływami (Afera 100 000 USD).
Najpoważniejszym powodem dymisji było ujawnienie przez śledczych oraz potężnego sponsora Republikanów, Erica Detersa, prywatnych wiadomości z aplikacji Signal. Wynika z nich, że tuż przed swoim senackim przesłuchaniem nominacyjnym na ambasadora, Guilfoyle wprost żądała od sponsora spłaty jej prywatnego długu na karcie American Express w wysokości 100 000 dolarów. W zamian zaoferowała mu nielegalne, bezpośrednie „wejścia” i dostęp do najwyższych urzędników nowej administracji Trumpa, aby pomóc mu w załatwieniu problemów prawno-podatkowych.
2. Lobbing dla greckich korporacji i drogie prezenty czyli prostytucja polityczna.
Dochodzenie Departamentu Stanu wykazało, że jako ambasadorka w Atenach, Guilfoyle przyjmowała luksusowe prezenty, w tym darmowe wakacje i loty prywatnymi odrzutowcami od greckich oligarchów i potentatów biznesowych. W zamian za te korzyści majątkowe, bezprawnie wprowadzała lobbystów greckich firm budowlanych i energetycznych na zamknięte, ściśle tajne spotkania dyplomatyczne, promując ich interesy.
3. Skandaliczne groźby pod adresem rządu Grecji.
Ambasadorka wywołała też międzynarodowy kryzys dyplomatyczny swoimi wypowiedziami w Atenach.
Podczas oficjalnego spotkania z greckim ministrem energii wprost zagroziła, że Waszyngton jest w stanie obalić każdy grecki rząd – w tym obecną centroprawicową administrację w Atenach – jeśli ten nie podporządkuje się bezwzględnie amerykańskim wytycznym gospodarczym. Wywołało to potężną burzę w greckim parlamencie i zmusiło tamtejsze MSZ do interwencji.
4. Fatalne zachowanie i mobbing w ambasadzie.
Pracownicy ambasady masowo skarżyli się na nieakceptowalne, wręcz „imprezowe” zachowanie Guilfoyle. Ambasadorka regularnie bawiła w ateńskich klubach nocnych do białego rana, a w pracy tyranizowała, poniżała i mobbingowała podległy jej personel dyplomatyczny.
Jak na to zareagował Trump?
Prezydent Donald Trump całkowicie odciął się od swojej dotychczasowej bliskiej sojuszniczki i byłej partnerki swojego najstarszego syna (Donald Trump Jr. był z nią zaręczony przez 4 lata, rozstali się pod koniec 2024 roku). Pytany przez reporterów o powody zwolnienia, Trump stwierdził chłodno: „Ona nie była członkiem mojej rodziny. Po prostu dawno temu randkowała z moim synem. Nie podobało nam się to, co czytaliśmy w prasie”.
