My students are requesting that I stock some manga on my classroom bookshelves. Any of my followers have recommendations for middle school level Manga (mangas? mangi?)
My 4 year old doesn't like cheese pizza. He doesn't like pepperoni pizza. He does, however, like pepperoni pizza after he picks off the pepperonis.
That's the only way he will eat pizza.

"codifying" something into federal law does nothing to prevent the court from overturning said law. Abortion rights being codified into law would not have stopped this.

We can turn this around but we need everyone to give a shit. We don't have to turn our country over to religious extremists and white supremacists.

Today I signed a bill into law that will make period products free in Hawai'i's public schools.
It's simple. No child should be forced to miss class because they can't afford period products and need to stay home. Thanks to all who helped make this bill a reality for our kids.
