The GOP Gov nominee is being called out for a smorgasbord of hate but their nominee for Secretary of State can’t find the words. This from @votedanbrady: “Well, Darren Bailey is running for governor on the Republican ticket, and I’m a Republican,” nbcchicago.com/news/local/gi…

The budget implementation bill received six fewer votes than the actual budget, a good guess as to why: the bill does not block lawmakers' cost of living increase, though there's allegedly some agreement w the Comptroller to withhold that $$.
But it's an election year.

Student debt is at a crisis level in this country, and it holds our whole economy down. One of the first things I'd do as president is allow all students to refinance their loans at 4%. The federal government shouldn't be making money off the backs of our students, period.

Culturally competent teaching practices would have led to an educator to pausing and asking "is this the most appropriate way to frame this discussion?". Great job Sach Elle.

We’ve seen bankers who crashed our economy get bonuses, while workers who brought our country back can’t even get a raise. That’s not right. It’s time we built an economy that gives dignity to hard-working Americans.
