Safety π€ Drones
We've recently had the pleasure of working with @TeamUAV on various projects, including confined space drone inspections. This minimises risk to our team, and it looks pretty cool too π
Here's a sneak peek!

Great work by @TeamUAV who used a drone to carry out culvert surveys on the Fowlea Brook in Stoke, #Staffordshire.
This is ahead of beginning extensive channel repairs and construction of new #flood defences due to start in January 2024.

Drone footage of #Ironbridge this morning shows huge amounts of water moving through with defences operating to protect the community there. Levels remain high along the Severn and many other rivers across #Midlands. EA teams operating 24/7 to respond bit.ly/2Mco1pn

Thanks Andy and @TeamUAV Use of drones makes a massive difference in identifying the problems and developing a plan for future flooding.
Brilliant to meet with @Bill_Esterson at #LuntMeadows with @TeamUAV to show extent of current #flood storage. #StormChristoph

We've been using drones over the last few days to understand the extent flooding has had across #Yorkshire . This technology allows us to plan where we need to focus our efforts and gives us a better understanding of how much water there is in the system.

Utilising drones is a great way to get live feed and to help us assess our assets when we canβt get close enough. In #Ironbridge weβve been doing that today and this will give us some idea on how far the barriers moved #ironbridgeflooding β at Ironbridge, England

Theyβve done a cracking job so far, I think itβs opened eyes to what we can gain from them alongside satellites and photos from field staff.

LIVE - #ironbridge when the Severn is at its highest level in 20 years.
Still rising.
Severe flood warning remains in place. Risk of flood defences overtopping.

WATCH. From last night PD Boris and handler @LincsPoliceK999 being guided in to a suspect from a vehicle stolen in a burglary, then detain him when he breaks cover and runs. Great teamwork all round and one of our teamβs very best results. #RightToolsForTheJob #PolicingWithPRIDE

A fantastic result for the team tonight near #Sleaford. Watch as our @lincspolice #drone operator from @BostonPoliceUK guides in @LincsPoliceK999 and the local SGT to a high risk missing person we found in the dark. @CIPhilVickers #PolicingWithPride #DronesForGood
