Way to see Mrs. Wendel’s class doing amazing things in small groups today. It was cool seeing them count money and using the class anchor chart to refer back to when they needed it. #NavProud @NavarroLISD

🎉🤖 Kermit’s Krew Makes Lockhart ISD and the USA Proud!🇺🇸🏆
Please join us in giving a huge round of applause to Kermit’s Krew, Navarro Elementary’s incredible robotics team, for an amazing season! 🎉
This group of brilliant young innovators not only took 1st place in Texas🥇 but also went on to represent the United States in the FIRST LEGO League International Open in Boston—and they didn’t stop there…they brought home a trophy! 🏆🌍
These students have worked tirelessly to solve real-world problems through robotics, coding, teamwork, and creativity. Their success on the international stage is a reflection of their passion, commitment, and the outstanding guidance of their dedicated coaches, Patricia Lewondowski and Meredith Shoults. 👏💚
Thank you, Kermit’s Krew, for showing the world what Navarro Elementary and Lockhart ISD are capable of! The future is bright, and it’s being built—brick by brick, bot by bot—by students like YOU. 🚀💡💪

Making a difference in the classroom is amazing, but we need to stand up for what is best for us which then impacts the students. It’s so easy to advocate. It’s just a matter of actually putting in some effort. -Michael Ramirez @techaboutitelem

This was such an awesome opportunity! Teachers, we use our voice all the time for our students. What’s stopping us from the state level? Advocate Today!!!
This week educators from Central Texas and business leaders from North Texas traveled to the Capitol to advocate for education. Together, they met with several senators and representatives to discuss school funding, inflation, teacher pay, and the impact of public schools in their community.
Thank you for using your voice to advocate for 5.5 million Texas public education students.
