📈 Amazon US GPU Sales: July vs August ’26 🇺🇸 August brought a BIG shift in the GPU market, with Intel ARC reaching a new all-time high in market share. Total demand dropped sharply: 📉 Units: 26,050 → 21,150 (-18.8%) 📉 Revenue: $20.01M → $16.64M (-16.8%) But the decline hit Nvidia MUCH harder: 🟢 Nvidia 14,950 → 10,100 (-32.4%) Share: 57.4% → 47.8% 📉 🔴 AMD 9,850 → 8,900 (-9.6%) Share: 37.8% → 42.1% 📈 🔵 Intel 1,250 → 2,150 (+72.0%) Share: 4.8% → 10.2% 🚀 Intel more than DOUBLED its market share in just one month. The architecture battle changed dramatically: Blackwell: 46.1% → 35.0% RDNA 4: 31.1% → 35.5% ➡️ RDNA 4 narrowly overtook Blackwell by units. The biggest reason? Nvidia’s mainstream Blackwell sales collapsed: RTX 5060: 2,450 → 600 (-76%) RTX 5060 Ti: 2,650 → 1,100 (-58%) RTX 5070 Ti: 1,900 → 1,150 (-39%) Meanwhile: RX 9070 XT: 4,050 → 4,000 (-1%) AMD’s flagship seller basically held its ground despite the total GPU market shrinking 19%. That pushed the RX 9070 XT from 15.6% → 18.9% share. Revenue tells a similar story: Nvidia: 69.3% → 60.6% AMD: 29.2% → 34.7% Intel: 1.5% → 4.7% Takeaway: August’s contraction disproportionately hit Nvidia. AMD gained substantial share by holding up much better, while Intel was the only vendor to actually grow, breaking through 10% unit share. Note: Keep in mind: Nvidia owns the OEM market, which is where the real volume is. Franchise after franchise gets destroyed because writers and producers feel the need to inject their politics into everything. Why not just create a new franchise instead? Because they know it wouldn't sell. They don't have the talent to build something people love, so they hijack something people already do.

At this point, I’m happy to see every $300M AAA game fail if it can’t even deliver the bare minimum of fan service and prioritizes politics over what gamers actually want. They never learn.
