I'm more surprised something like this got past Apple...
Foldable screens are fragile. Somehow this slipped past them.
Google Gemini is effectively useless.
Gemini can't build or publish on Github?
It asks me to run it on Cursor but I would need to buy credits for it to use Gemini and I'm not paying extra for something I already have... Google is wildly behind.
What Elon doesn't tell you is you have to pay for a phone number for it to use... I hate this type of vague posting from Elon... Tell people the full story to get this to work.
Grok @Bot can now call someone or a business for you, make a request on your behalf, take notes on the response and send you a note summarizing the conversation!
This is why I always let new products marinate for at least 3-5 months
The iPhone Duo has been out only a couple of days, yet early users and reviewers have already reported multiple problems.
> Cracked inner screens: Some owners report the screen cracking along the hinge after just a few folds.
>Display failures: Reports include bright lines, black lines, and unresponsive areas.
>Dust in the hinge: JerryRigEverything found dust entering the hinge despite the IP68 rating, eventually preventing proper closure.
>Scratches easily: The inner flexible display is much softer than standard phone glass.
>Hinge concerns: Some owners say the hinge felt different or harder to fold before the screen failed.
>Heavy: At around 254g for an iphone
>Small outer screen: The 5.4-inch cover display can feel cramped for everyday use.
>No Face ID, Apple uses Touch ID instead.
> Limited multitasking: Two apps can run side by side, but with fewer arrangement options.
>App compatibility: Some apps remain poorly optimized for the large inner display.
>Camera compromises: No dedicated telephoto camera, and the under-display selfie camera got backlash
> Heat: Some reviewers noted the phone heating up during extended camera use.
>Software glitches
For a 2$k phone this is like a bad joke, Apple should make an official statement about the reported hinge and display failures and explain what is happening.
Claude Duet so far is working pretty good but There are improvements to be made to make it better.
So far...

Siri sucks. Now you can just use Grok!
Everyone said "Hey Grok" was impossible on iPhone. Even Grok said Apple keeps wake words for Siri only. So I kept digging, and I found a way. Now I just say "Hey Grok" and Grok Bot voice chat opens. No extra apps, no cost, all built into iOS.
How to set it up:
1. Make sure your Grok Bot app is up to date
2. Shortcuts app → + → Add Action → search "Grok Bot" → pick "Start Voice Chat with Bot"
3. Settings → Accessibility → Vocal Shortcuts → Set Up → pick that shortcut → type "Hey Grok" and say it 3 times
4. In the shortcut's details, turn on "Allow Running When Locked"
If your phone is locked, iOS asks for one tap first. If Face ID already unlocked it, it's fully hands-free.

CrackGate is starting to look like a real problem for the $1,999 iPhone Duo.
Several owners have posted photos and videos of their inner screens cracking in almost the exact same spot, right around the hinge.
One Australian owner said their Duo cracked just six hours after getting it, after fewer than 20 folds, Apple replaced the phone.
One possible explanation is that something inside the hinge could be sitting too close to the OLED display and damaging it.
