Mivi One impressions thread. Overall, it's a competitively priced, well-specced device for the 2026 market that's powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. It also comes with a 1/2.76" main sensor, and the only "obvious" major catch for the price is the display.

Used iPhone Duo at a store today: -Inner screen reduces reflections well but the OLED blacks aren't as deep or contrasty -Crease is noticeable in the demo units at some angles -Photos look pretty average especially on the larger inner screen in terms of noise & details -They should let us resize the apps to whatever size we want -Too wide to hold with 1 hand -Remarkable hardware and feel but it's heavy It doesn't change my thoughts on foldable phones. I am still not convinced. I'm paying more for inferior cameras, just so that I can have a larger screen when I want it. I'd stick to slabs.

*I meant resize the apps in the split screen view, if it wasn't clear

It's actually nice to see creators from China expand to a broader audience and post informative, well produced videos. For example, their latest video included a full robotic arm And Tim Pan now got a studio tour with MrBeast himself. Encouraging my viewers to give them a go

Arc is the reason I will never switch browsers ever again. I used Chrome for years and years and years but, despite the high switching costs, Arc was cool enough for me to pull the trigger and try something new. I loved, I recommended it to friends. It was buggy but I really really loved it. Just yesterday I was using Chrome with vertical tabs and reminiscing on how good Arcโ€™s tab management was, how much I enjoyed using that browser. Then, less than a year after I switched, they announced Dia and put Arc on life support. And now, itโ€™s gone. I have limited interest in AI browsers, but even if I did, I would never switch to Dia? Why would I use a browser that could be sunset at any point? Chrome 4 life I guess. Fuck me for trying something new.
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026. That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community. Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet todayโ€™s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward. We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how: ยท Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly. ยท Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact. ยท Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security. ยท The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional. Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.

For โ‚น69,249 in the sale, you're getting: -No telephoto -60Hz screen -Inconsistent thermals especially for Indian weather conditions -Not on par with 70K Android phones for performance & cameras -Average battery -Was sold for 55K just last year iPhone 16 makes no sense

-Oh, and brightness of the display panel doesn't sustain when it's hot outside. That has only improved with the 17. If you really want an iPhone I still think you should just extend to the iPhone 17. 17e and 16 don't make any sense whatsoever even if new Android flagships...

...the output impedance is unlikely to be very high. I will check this again. -If you want a <15K Digital Audio Player but also want it to be your secondary device, you could actually consider this. -Haptics are actually not horrible. Yes, it's not the most precise...

...or tactile feedback, and is slightly springy, but it's not as bad as the haptics I've used on some Vivo V series / iQOO Z series devices which have really unrefined haptic motors.
