even though i post a lot about og, i actually prefer modern fortnite. the ui, the animations, all of it. og belongs to its era, and the modern game has really grown on me

weird platform quirk in Fortnite's weapons: 🤔 from C2 S7 through C3 (potentially even later), the reticle turns red when an enemy is under it BUT... only on non-Windows builds 🧐 (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, mobile). PC is unaffected for some reason.

it’s been a thing since early chapter 2 and still exists to this day. it’s an intentional feature that was added to tell you if you eill be able to hit your opponent on console and mobile

a small detail i noticed: when you hit a prop, its health bar hides itself automatically after 5 seconds 🤔
