Hi, uh, no I'm not dead. Here's what's happening: I've decided to quit streaming on this channel & step back as Phae. I am primarily focusing on my VTubing channel while I get my shit together. Streaming for the last 5 years has brought so many amazing experiences & a love for a community that was so great. The problem that resulted in my sudden disappearance is 100% my fault in not having a backup plan. As a small streamer, it's almost nearly impossible to be able to live off of streaming fulltime. Mixer allowed me to get away with it as I was making more than enough than I needed. I grew too comfortable with that & once we merged to Twitch it was fine for awhile until it wasn't. This put an extreme weight on my mental health because of the constant stress. I was determined to make streaming work for me again & crank out content but my mental got in the way. My brain has been begging for a better lifestyle & to do that, I have to make a sacrifice & that's to cut out something that's only been making myself toxic & miserable. When I decided to go MIA, I think I might have been at my worst due to stress. I feel a little embarrassed being 26 years old & not having a life plan while my family thinks I'm just playing video games all day & struggling to make ends meet. The decision still breaks my heart but in reality, I'm already doing much better mentally being away. I appreciate everyone who's ever stopped in & spent time in my streams. All the love & support will never be forgotten. In the meantime & since my disappearance I'm extremely happy to say; I've gotten my BLS certification, applied to a couple hospitals after a few big girl phone calls to begin a career in the medical field, got accepted to a new college, temporarily accepted a job offer & possibly being offered another this evening after a call. I'm getting my life together ASAP. I appreciate everyone who has reached out & I apologize to those who this may disappoint. Mental health will always come first. Much love. <3
