So... as I said early on in the Malfoid Phenomenon (Because it's certainly not a trend anymore)
The Resurrection of the Chivalric Mytho-Poetic Romance is a THREAT to everything that the left has built.
Stirring the soul to desire love, family, forgiveness and yearning is ANTIDOTE to demoralization. When you are made to believe again in the "Something Good Worth Fighting For" That Samwise Gamgee reminds Frodo of when he is under threat of being drown in his despair, when you are allowed to yearn for the possibility of Love and believe again that it's not too late to find your other half, when you are made to believe again in the wonder that childhood once stirred inside us all, and the hope for a brighter tomorrow...
These are ACTIVE AND NOTABLE THREATS to the Left and the long march throuhg culture.
Malfoid is a lighthouse for the lost in the dark, it is a burning brazier pushing back the darkness... it is our Light of Elendìl. Tearing at the veil of despair and kindling something in the human heart that the left has tried to MURDER in the crib.
"Hyperbole!" Some might say.
*LOOK AT THEM! LOOK AT WHAT THEY ARE DOING IN RESPONSE!*
Look at their anger, their vitriol, their rage! Do you really think that all of this is because Malfoid DOES NOT MATTER?
Malfoid is quite likely one of the ONLY things that matter, because it reminds us of who we should BE, like a Proper story! That kindness and Strength can overcome the evils of the world through love! That we must be willing to FIGHT for that love, and FIGHT for what is good and worth dying for in this world!
Never, ever underestimate the power that a story can have over the Soul of a Nation and people.

WIRED Magazine hates JK Rowling and Harry Potter. They hate is so badly they gave one of the biggest games of all time a 1/10 because “transphobes”. #malfoid

Altman seems to wish he had more RAM, so I did him a solid and cancelled my subscription to free up resources for him.
Today marks the 1 month point of when I started this story.
Working through development still, and making good progress. Some details:
Fantasy setting, centered around a collection of 14 year olds navigating the preliminary year of a magical academy.
Bridges between YA and adult fantasy.
It is a rejection of morally grey modern cynicism.
Long term arc, a slow burn enemies to lovers wholesome romance to unfurl over the course of 5 books.
5 books is awfully ambitious for an unpublished writer who is not even to the drafting stage of book 1. But I have faith. Malfoid has gifted me with a clarity of vision and a compulsion the likes of which I have never experienced.
I agree, love this much more than the modern anime look.
Saw someone repost this and I really dig the art style.
I’d love to see more Harry Potter animations with that classic ’90s anime look. It fits the world so well. I can’t be the only one yearning for more of this 📺✨

Malfoid enjoyers and fellow yearners, there is an anime I would like you to watch. Even if anime is not your cup of tea, I think you would fall in love.
Your Name.
I don't think I can finish the Red Rising series. The first book was really engaging. 100% male power fantasy, sure... but it was a page turner, it kept me going.
But the longer the story went, the mechanics of it just kept taking me out of the story. Catastrophe > miraculous recovery. Repeat ad nauseum. It started becoming tiresome during the second book.
I'm a third of the way through book 3 and I just can't bring myself to care anymore. I think I'm going to abandon it.
On to the next book.

Beneath the veil, Malfoid keeps the silence of an ancient house. In her hands rests the serpent; upon her shoulders, the weight of all that came before. 🐍

A reminder to all the Yearners in the Malfoid tag....
While the algorithm does plot against things trending for long times... what you can do to help combat that is remember to interact with the posts you like. I know that it's easy to fall into the habit of just clicking likes and reshares, but this actually doesn't promote the spreading of content beyond a certain reach... and certainly not after they've started throttling the tag.
Leave a comment on art you like or reshare, even if its just simply to say why you like it. Engage in discussions of story snippets and rewrites. Not only does this help with getting content seen more broadly (The algorithm favors engagement), it also bolsters and encourages those creators to keep making content (Yes, egos must be fed).
So, if you like a particular artist or piece of art, remember to engage with it!

Progress update: the mania has completely subsided. After the dust settled, I had to take stock of where I was at.
40k-ish words worth of a setting, plot, and character information.
An outline of about 30k words broken up into different sections for chapter and scene planning.
All of that produced in 3 weeks of writing in every spare waking moment.
And I will be trudging through development edits for the foreseeable future. But that's expected. Writing long form content is really difficult. I'm just thrilled to be pushing forward day after day even though the creative mania has left me.
Thank you to every Malfoid artist and poster. This story wouldn't exist if not for you.

Sometimes there's nothing left to do but smoke a pipe and contemplate how you arrived at the state you are currently in.
One more Malfoid post before I go back to focusing on my own story. Keep at it, fellow yearners.

I've started using a creativity hack I found on YouTube called 'the grail method'
You write down thoughts, scribbles, put pictures in between the pages. Free form, no organization. Just a brain dump whenever you have a creative thought or idea or inspiration.
Then review it constantly, to revisit what you put down before, regardless of whether it was a good idea, or something you quickly discarded.
I've been doing this for about a week now. Slow at first, but it's already starting to work, and it's honestly surprised me at how it's helping me think through problems, and spur on my creativity with my current Malfoid-inspired fictional setting.
I would highly recommend trying it if you are a creative type.
