Game 53 @SCFL_ Div 1 SLIC 2-2 @MVCFC1999 (?, Thompson-Phiri | Barker, Freemantle) All square between two sides battling it out towards the top of the table. A low quality affair where both teams enjoyed spells in the lead. A nice finish secured a point for the hosts.

Not bad at all. 71 grounds following my team!

Game 52 @premierleague International Cup Group A @SouthamptonFC U21s 1-1 @juventusfc U21s (Ehibhatiomhan | Marchisio) Spoils shared in front of a healthy crowd at St Mary’s. Saints were in control most of the game but couldn’t prevent Davide Marchisio scoring a wonderful goal.

Looking forward to this tonight! My 99th visit to St Mary’s!

Game 51 @HampshireFA Women’s Senior Cup @AfcVarsity 1-2 @HWFCWomen (Lines | Bradbury, Lee) Both teams unbeaten in the league, but Havant progress in the cup. 2-0 at HT looked comfortable for the visitors, but Varsity showed spirit to get a goal back to set up a nervy ending!

Game 50 @SotonDivFA Sunday Senior Cup QF Mottisfont 0-3 Townhill (S.McLean x2, Roach) Div 1 leaders Townhill scored 3 goals in the 1st half to seal the win. A scrappy 2nd half followed with the visitors reduced to 10 men. Mottisfont dug in but lacked quality up top!

Game 49 @EmiratesFACup 4th Round Qualifying @sholingfc 2-0 @sedonsfc (Wylie x2) Sholing into the 1st round proper for the first time in their history. Dons put up a good fight but their magical run falls just short! Incredible away following for the YouTubers.

Game 48 South Wessex Church League D1 Iford Baptist Church 3-0 @RiversideFC4 (Rasaq, OG, Jones) Iford’s unbeaten run continues. A goalless first half saw both teams spurn good chances before the hosts found the goals needed for the 3 points in the 2nd half

Game 47 @SkyBetLeagueTwo @Official_STFC 0-1 @crewealexfc (Gibson) Crewe make it 10 league games unbeaten with a 1-0 away win at Swindon. Jordan Gibson’s 2nd half strike puts the Railwaymen top of League Two!

Game 46 @HCWFL_ Div 5 @EastleighFC Women 8–0 @Sherfieldwomen The Spitfires were 3–0 up inside five minutes and never looked back! Seven goals before the break had the game all but settled, with Eastleigh adding just one more after HT to round off a dominant display.

Loving this weather for October! Shorts and t-shirt outside at the footy. ☀️ Long may it continue!

Game 45 @HampshireFA Sunday Vase R1 @Michelmersh_T (Sun) 1–10 @bmouthmanorfc (Sun) A one-sided affair as Manor hit 10 to cruise into the next round. 7–0 at HT before three more after the break rounded off a dominant display from the visitors!

Anyone know where these @FASunday_Cup games are being played tomorrow? Trying to work out what will be my most local game in R1 @nfrafc v Oldland @EastXchSSCFC v @ECA_FC @FCAngel23 v @ElTilehurst is at @Whitchurchutd I think.

Oh damn that orange Danny Hollands shirt would have been superb! 😢

Game 44 @WessexLeague Div 1 @Romseytownfc1 4–1 @KintburyRangers (Rafferty, Martin, Tulk, Yeates | ?) Six wins on the bounce for Romsey! Kintbury threatened a comeback after pulling one back, but a third goal and an unnecessary red card ended any hopes for the visitors.

Game 43 South Wessex Churches Div 1 Lansdowne FC 2–1 @RiversideFC4 (Partridge x2 | French) Lansdowne’s unbeaten run continues, while Riverside are still searching for their first win. 2 early goals put the hosts in control before a late Riverside strike made for a nervy finish

Game 42 @SotonDivFA Senior Cup R2 @Romseytownfc1 6–0 @btcsotonfc (Zikmund, Yeates x2, Hill x3) Romsey were relentless against 10-man BTC. 2 divisions separate the sides, with the @WessexLeague hosts turning on the style after HT to rack up the goals and book their place in R3!

🟨 YELLOW CARD An official today wearing cut socks and (presumably) grip socks. Has the game well and truly gone at this point?

Game 41 @WomensFACup 2nd Qualifying Round @SotonWomensFC 1-2 @portchyladies (Mears | Bath, M.Barron-Clark) 8x WFA Cup winners Southampton bow out in qualifying to a strong Portchester side. 2 excellent volleys for the Royals secured the win despite the hosts’ comeback attempt!

Game 40 Andover & District Sunday Div 3 @PicketPieceFC Res 3-3 Charlton Wanderers (Drury, Thomsett x2 | Spanswick, Roberts, Opoku) Both sides still searching for their first win of the season. The visitors battled back from 3-1 down at half time to gain a point!
