President William Ruto has launched the construction of the Kandwia–Kyuso–Tseikuru Road in Kora, Kitui County, a project of great significance to the region.
The President has also directed the contractor to construct the 3km stretch leading to Wiper leader @skmusyoka homestead. Interestingly, this project is being undertaken not by KeRRA, but by the Kenya National Highways Authority (@KeNHAKenya), underscoring the importance the President attaches to it.

President @WilliamsRuto is back in the country after attending the 25th Comesa Summit of Heads of State and Government in Harare.
During the two-day meeting, President Ruto handed over the chairmanship of the 21-member trading bloc to Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
The Summit also saw the launch of the Comesa Medium-Term Strategic Plan for 2026–2030 besides deliberations on intra-African trade, strengthening of economic integration, artificial intelligence, among other regional issues.

Kenya’s history of courage and sacrifice resonates deeply with Ethiopia’s own story of Adwa, where Ethiopians from every corner of the country united to defend their homeland. These shared histories remind us that freedom was never given; it was won through courage, unity, and sacrifice.
As our histories are intertwined, so too must our futures be. Through the spirit of Medemer, Ethiopia and Kenya must continue building on our existing cooperation in clean energy, connectivity, telecommunications, and trade to create greater opportunities and shared prosperity for our people.

These two were hiding 2km outside town, waiting for President Ruto to leave so they could make their grand entrance. Kumbe it was 6:30 PM and the President was still busy addressing Wananchi! By the time they figured out the schedule, their master plan was already on life support. Now we understand why the President keeps saying the opposition has neither an agenda nor brains!

Assented to the Tax Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026, and the Kenya Revenue Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026, at Eldoret State Lodge, Uasin Gishu County.
This amendment Act extends the reduction of VAT on petroleum products from 16 per cent to 8 per cent for another 90 days to cushion Kenyans against high fuel prices.
It also introduces reforms to excise duty on tiles, sanitary ware and glass products to lower construction costs, boost the housing industry and create jobs.
On its part, The Kenya Revenue Authority (Amendment) Act strengthens KRA's governance and financing, improving efficiency and revenue collection without increasing taxes.
