There was a scene in remake where it looked like there would be a fight with Red XIII. Notice how Tifa was first to put up her fists. But Aerith found a way to avoid that situation.
The director's comment reminded me of this scene.
My intended meaning was that Tifa would never hold back in a serious fight, while Aerith would probably find a way to avoid ending up in that kind of situation in the first place.I certainly didn't mean to imply that Tifa is violent.Some of the nuance from the original conversation is understandably lost in a written interview, so I just wanted to add a bit of clarification.

I wonder what kind of flowers these are and their meaning? Besides the yellow lily. I researched a little, not sure though.
Orange hawkweed: sharp insight/keen eyed
Yellow dandelion: oracle of love/true love
Orange lily: splendor/cheerful/rashness
In FF7 Rebirth, the scene with Aerith's smiles was blurred and the camera quickly turned so you can't see, unless you freeze frame.
I'm predicting it is saved for FF7 Revelation, where Aerith's smile is shown fully when Cloud comes find her at some point in Revelation.
Just marking a prediction, but I was thinking this world might be a world where Cloud doesn't return with Zack. Sephiroth and Cloud are gone.
So Aerith does not meet Cloud. I think she's listening to the flowers like in remake.
Aerith has a chair right next to the flowers. I wonder if she placed it there so she can sit and wait for a sign?
Because the moment she is suppose to meet Cloud might've passed. Maybe she feels it.
The yellow flowers meaning is to meet again, it's a guide (related to Cloud)
In a new footage, Aerith is glowing from a scene in Rebirth, that wasn't there before.
I think it's a glitch, because that glow appears right after in Rebirth. So maybe they were skipping round and the glow didn't unglow?
It would be cool if Aerith revisited history though.

2) Aerith's house was impacted by the tornado or something like we see at the beginning of Rebirth.
Zack comes back to see Aerith at the Church like at the end of Integrade/Intermission. He later goes to her home and sees her.
