If PLU Parliamentary Caucus is addressing issues Teso should be out of the agenda as announced by Kabanda. If they really want to show that they are not willing to work with Iteso let them meet and talk about Teso. Kabanda is destroying PLU.

🇺🇬 ELWELU ARREST: TESO MPs SEEK MUSEVENI AND ARMY CHIEF’S INTERVENTION
Teso MPs are seeking intervention from President Museveni and the Chief of Defence Forces over Peter Elwelu’s arrest.
Simon Peter Opolot-Okwalinga (Kanyum County), chairperson of the Teso Parliamentary Group, appeals for fair handling and a meeting with the leaders, while urging people in Teso to remain calm.

UPDATE: Members of the Teso Parliamentary Group have appealed to President Museveni to intervene following the arrest of former Deputy Chief of Defense Forces, Lt Gen Peter Elwelu. They have called for dialogue saying it is the best way to address grievances and prevent tensions from escalating.
