This is my favorite pic of Elvis. Partially cuz he looks cool. Mostly because my grandma took it. September of 1957. He stopped for breakfast in Cleveland, TX after a show in Houston. Props to my mom @Beckyha72662639 for preserving it. #Elvis45 – at Houston, TX

My 35th class reunion was tonight. Damn. 35. That’s a big number. We had it at a bar and restaurant in Spring, Texas where I worked at in 1989. This place is haunted af. Wunsche Bros cafe and saloon. Google it. AI it. Do whatever ya gotta do but this old train hotel has some restless spirits bopping around. Back in the day, I got a dose of those spirits. It was Halloween in 1989. I was 17. Me and my buddies Darrell and Russell dragged some apartment chicks to Wunsche Bros. Russ had a key so we took an Ouija board and thought we’d have some silly teen fun with a buncha beer and nothing to do. This pic is of the hallway upstairs. Downstairs it’s a regular restaurant. In 1989 the upstairs was not built out. It was the same as it was in the 1920s. Completely ratchet, dirty, and unfinished. Cobwebs urrwhere. Maybe some extra restaurant chairs. Under this hallway, so the ceiling of the main restaurant, there were single lightbulbs hanging. We were downstairs, too chickenshit to go upstairs cuz we knew it was haunted up there. We may have had a beer or two, but we bust out the Ouija board and aimed to summon ghosts. Corny. I know. Well I don’t know if it was a ghost, but as we started Ouija boarding, the dangling lights flickered. We hooted and hollered and were way more interested in the apartment chicks than the shady electrical system of a raggedy old restaurant. We wrote it off to shitty wiring, but honestly we were a little spooked. Spooked enough that we stopped. We jokingly apologized to the ghosts and put the board away. Then the lights started swaying. They were physically moving. There was no way they could move. No AC. No fans. No way. But they were moving and not like a tiny bit. They were all swaying. And it got hot af. It’s supposed to get cold but it got hot. It got hot and we got tf out. Back to the truck. Off to some other teen haunt. The end. I know. Lame ending. But we were super freaked out. Tonight, as I was leaving my reunion, I thought about that night. In that same place. The upstairs is gorgeous now. Great location for an event. But the whole night that is all I could think of. Those swaying lights. No way in hell it was natural. So on the way out, I took the pic. Anyhow, that’s my 35th high school reunion story.

I’m in a Waymo in SF en route to La Taqueria and it is interesting watching how all of the regular cars have acclimated. They know if there is a quarter inch they can sneak their car in and the Waymo will defer. This is gonna be fascinating to watch over the years and decades.

I remember that time you introduced me to your wife and I said "Welcome to America" because I thought surely she was an Eastern European mail-order bride because ain't no way you had game enough to pull in a woman that looked like that.

Am I the only one honestly ready for Christmas? For real for real. The music. The weather. The damn commercials. The vibe. The lights. Yeah I’m ready.

I can say with absolute certainty that this is me, my daughter, Gunne, and my wife, Kear. I can attest with equal sureness that Kear is not my brother. Zero hesitation. Zero doubt. Let there be no confusion. My daughter is also not my brother. Nor is my t-shirt.

From my hotel window, here’s a Timelapse of the gray San Francisco skies as the airplanes come and go. Stellar shoot early week, work from hotel midweek, then home to Texas after a meeting Friday. Love my job. God is good!

The “Made with AI” is the Suno.ai song btw. This is my dji osmo on the balcony of my hotel room. Suno is fantastic for stuff like this. I just vomit a vibe and voila. Imma do some long exposure photography later tonight when it’s dark.

Both candidates are deeply concerned about corruption in Tammany Hall.
The two candidates for Missouri House of Representatives District 158 have something in common. Left: incumbent R - Scott Cupps Right: D - Chris Foster

One tear of joy welled in my left eye as I received this text from @united. I’m off to San Francisco for a grand adventure. Poor, poor delta passengers flying around like it’s the Middle Ages. I can’t even imagine.

Cool little detail. When @Grok is thinking, his 9 dot grid draws a G. I love the little touches.

If you’re using grok @bot you can ask it to download the developer kit for your Roku and just make stuff on your TV. It’s kinda sick. - Daily calendar - stock market watch - percentage completion of shows/series - trending X memes - weather - whatever
