This is not the first time Spain has been overrun by Muslims, to their detriment. Did you know that Columbus received the funds to set out on his original voyage from the King and Queen of Spain because they were joyously celebrating the removal of Islam??? youtube.com/watch?v=X-gYSy-0…

100 hours a year. That's how long parents sit in the pick-up line waiting for someone else to hand their kid back. We did the math and just kept our kids. Same hours. Completely different investment.

I’m here to remind you that your kid doesn’t need an iPad or an educational app to succeed. They won’t be ahead because they played a phonics game or a math game. They won’t be behind because they didn’t learn to use AI. What they need is a solid foundation in reading (with real books), lots of conversation with mature adults, and a course in logic. They need to be able to think critically, and to tell truth from lies. These will prepare them for a world in which AI runs rampant, whether they choose to use it or not.

That is one reason why Texas home educators is building micro libraries for the classic books needed for the literature based curriculums.
I’ve been begging people to buy up and read hard copy books for years. First it was because of the unreliability of internet history sources. Next came e-books that could be changed or even disappear. Then came artificial intelligence. Now AI is literally destroying the hard copies. Please go out and rescue the good books! Move the decorative bowls and cheap decor out of the way, and make room on your shelves for the important stuff.

Skipping your health to "save time" for your family usually means giving them less of you. Taking care of your body is one of the ways you serve the people God put in your care. More energy. More strength. More calm. More presence. Send this to a dad who needs the reminder.

Fake school choice was a huge step in this direction for private education. Red-flavored socialism is on the march and all the fake conservatives love it!

BREAKING: Connecticut Senate passed a bill to require parents to prove their innocence before they can homeschool. The vote was 22–14. The House passed it 96–53. It now goes to @GovNedLamont. CT may be the first state to go backwards on homeschool freedom in the last 50 years.

Stop everything you're doing and watch Connecticut Sen. Rob Sampson (R) call out Democrats for attacking homeschoolers. "Parents are not subjects–they are citizens–and they do not need the permission of this state government or anyone in this room to educate their own children."

1st grade teacher is considering homeschooling her level 1 autistic son. A lot of people aren't aware of the growing number of families who homeschool because their kids are neurodivergent & they aren't getting what they need in the school system.

When I worked in public schools they constantly talked about “closing the achievement gap.” They forgot to mention that Black homeschool students score 23-42% above Black public school students across all standardized tests. In fact, the gap between Black public school students and Black home school students is the greatest achievement gap in America education. I wonder why they never talk about it.

What Pastors aren't saying from the pulpit: You will stand before God at the Bema Seat and answer for your life. Your children are the most precious gift He gave you. Are you prepared to tell Him you outsourced their formation to a wicked school system?

Awesome News! Congratulations!
They say Classical Ed is "weak" in the sciences. Isa Fite (CC grad) just won the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. Goldwater winner. First-author publication in Physical Review A. Her professor calls her the most accomplished undergrad in 33 years of teaching. Receipts posted.
