is not nostalgia.
It’s evidence. ∴
Built from half-remembered nights beneath sodium lights, pirate radio hiss, stolen cars, council estate ghosts and the strange hidden world growing underneath Britain during the 1990s and early 2000s, this new collaborative record from RAZ & Tengushee documents the emotional and spiritual foundations of what would eventually become known as #Faewave.
These are semi-autobiographical transmissions pulled from real places, real fears and real people — runners carrying pager messages through rain-soaked London nights, broken romantics trying to survive violent youth culture, hidden clubs, outlaw radio stations, impossible encounters and the slow realization that the world was stranger than anybody admitted. ⧖
Across the album, ordinary British underground life begins to fracture and bleed into something older and more dangerous: phantoms in Istanbul apartments, impossible lights above tower blocks, dragon-haunted nightclubs, ghost roads beneath the city and the endless pull of grief, memory and unfinished love.
Musically, GHOST STORIES merges raw UK underground influences — trip-hop, pirate radio culture, jungle textures, outlaw balladry and narco-drill energy — with the surreal emotional mythology of Faewave. This is the sound of the underground before social media flattened everything. A world of payphones, cassette decks, CRT glow, bus stop mythology and whispered signals between the lost. ⋮

The memes is not decentralized. It's like.... the most centralized ecosystem in crypto. And it's not just centralized, it's deeply corrupt and fraudulent.
Here's how imbalanced the power is: your fucking side wallet LoneRanger, which has never collected a meme card or supported a single artist, but has received all 494 meme cards for free, has more "rep" and "tdh" than collectors who have paid for every mint and actually supported artists.
Second, the memes doesn't fund "public goods".. it funds private greed. I am homeless and I have funded more public goods than the entire meme collection.
The very first collection I ever released, guess what the first thing I did with the eth was, not even ten minutes after it finished minting. I funded the construction of a well for a village with several hundred people and I funded the construction of a rain catchment system for a school of about 300 people. Completed the donations directly to the water project on chain.
Oh I forgot. Over in 6529 land "public goods" means sending money to Brynn Elise for personal expenses because she takes pictures of bears that she then sells for profit..
Your whole ecosystem, including all these self aggrandizing artists who's popularity came by way of the dirty funding behind it, is just a slap in the face to all the real all stars we have in crypto art.
And FYI, I cut my teeth in crypto doing work with real public goods projects on Ethereum even before I started in crypto art.
I was doing REAL public goods work back in 2017 and 2018 with giveth, bounties network and gitcoin.
What were you doing in crypto back then? Oh that's right, you were literally running around doing seminars and talks trying to convince banks and financial institutions that if they didn't adapt to crypto soon, they were gonna lose control of things.
