Message to Mirage employees, from president Joe Lupo: "As I communicated during our Town Hall meeting this morning, after a fantastic 18-year run, The Beatles™ LOVE™ show will be ending their legendary residency at The Mirage on Sunday, July 7, 2024. While I understand this will come as sad news to many, it marks another step in the transformation of our property to the new Hard Rock Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. It has been determined that construction would only impact and require the closure of the LOVE Theatre at this time. This follows construction activity that began in December that included the demolition of the Siegfried & Roy Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat and continues on the west side of the property. LOVE has been a major part of The Mirage's entertainment offerings since 2006 and has captivated millions of guests over the years. This legendary collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Apple Corps Ltd. and the music of The Beatles created an iconic theatrical production on the Las Vegas Strip, amazing audiences, and bridging generations. I want to share my sincere appreciation to MGM and the entertainment team which ensured that the show's legacy continued during our ownership transition. I also want to thank the Cirque performers and Mirage team members who played a part in entertaining guests during LOVE's 18-year run including 11 original company members. Tickets continue to be available for purchase at our Box Office and online for dates through its final performance."
