Second batch of the T2K project done. Next is either Soviets (BRDM, BMP, T-72M) or US (Abrams, Bradley, M-151, LAV-25). Have Soviet and US troops from the period too (RPG numbers, not wargame armies) but want to do some armor. Woman on MG not glued - RP may put a male character in

MVotD: The Empress' Wagon. 28mm, painted to be a wondrous item in our primary game world. Does not see a lot of table time, but is fun.

In Twilight 2000, mid 1996 is the year that hard-liners invaded the baltics... So I could actually build a T2K IS-2...
The Object 240 was accepted into service as the IS-122 or IS-2 #OTD in 1943. This tank officially remained in service until 1993, making it the longest serving heavy tank in history. #tanks #History #WW2 #WWII

MVotD: Leichter Panzerspahwagen Sdkfz 221 in Chinese Nationalist service. 1:56, Warlord or Rubicon model. The Germans outfit an entire division of Chinese Nationalist troops before war broke out in Europe. These vehicles were replaced early in the European theater, but used to the end of the Chinese Civil War.

Minis of the Day: These were painted a couple of decades ago for a charity auction at a Con. Hope whomever ended up with them got some fun times out of 'em. All are WHFB minis, but from an array of times - metal to newer (then) plastics.

Minis of the Day: The Light Bobs at Cowpens. Doctrine took the light unit out of each regiment before a battle and fielded them separately. This grouping is representative of the "light bobs" at Cowpens, and is flying the 71st (Frasers) Highlanders' flag.

One of these knives I carry around every day. The other I am happy to own, but leave at home. You know which is which. And boy oh boy, the stories the one I carry could tell...

I don't even need to ring the doorbell to know for sure that this house has the *good candy*. 💯

MVotD: British Crusader Mark II in 1:48. Model by Tamiya. Painted for desert use. A surprising number (5300) were made, given their early obsolescence, and even though the 2cm gun had limited usefulness early in the war, variants were in use into the late 60s.

Final copy of the Referee's Guide has arrived. It's a beast, but full of good GM stuff for our world, more consolidated than ever. Players have had a guide since the 90s, but this is the first attempt to pull GM info together. Less "I know I have that.." while people are at table

It used to be on the borderlands, but the border... Moved.

MVotD: This was with the PPCLI when they were Minis of the Day, but haven't shared as the vehicle yet. A 1:56 Churchill of the 51 (Leeds Rifles) RTR. Model is Italeri. We built armies to re-fight the Italian invasion, and this was the primary support for my PPCLI.

He's right.
Arneson, Gygax, and Kuntz did more for gaming than the majority of these people collected together could imagine.

MVotD: BTR 60PB in 1:56. It is modeled for 2000 apocalypse, and has been taken from a museum by a crew of relatively random people. Museum head-nods: marked for Polish Army, but BTRs only served police, and has the cold war uncrowned eagle on the far side, though painted for 2000
