A new Mandela Effect is rising. Since when does the Soviet flag carry a star above the hammer and sickle? Many of us remember it clearly without one. No? England essentially became a gradually evolving Parliamentary Monarchy ever since the Magna Carta (1215). Different kinds of "Parliaments" existed, people could vote, with limited suffrage, gradually liberalizing and gaining power over time, and the Monarch always restricted.
