Today is the anniversary of the release of @Metallica โs ย โAnd Justice for allโ album in 1988. The following year @officialcult spent 6 months out on the road with them as special guests on their โDamaged Justiceโ tour.
So, the โMaximum Metallicaโ channel on @SIRIUSXM have made me โHero of the Dayโ to come on and talk about those amazing (& crazy) days!โจIt airs today at 12 & 5pm EST in the US.

Ooh, I do love the White Peak. On the top of the hill in the distance is Minninglowโฆ and for the history buffs amongst you itโs the olde neolithic burial chamber dating back to the Early Neolithic period around 3400 BCโฆ which is over 5,000 years ago!!!!
From the BD Arkive. Interesting (and beautiful) item as a telegram seems such an ancient thing now. It was our first Japanese tour and nice classy touch from our old managers Ian Grant (and Iโm guessing Alan Edwards too).

From the BD Archives this is one of my favourite pics of me from back in the day and I actually have this print on my wall at home.
It was shot by legendary rock photographer Jim Marshall when he spent a week with us while we were on the road opening for Metallica in 1989.

Iโve been using Dunlop guitar picks for my whole career & from time to time have hooked up with them to produce limited edition sets to sell on tour, with a new design each time.
With no shows happening this year we have created a brand new set exclusively for my online store
and yes, I did sign every single box!!!โจ
