I couldn’t agree more with @PhilSpeculates review of The Hallows by @hollytinsl3y
One of the most original books I’ve read and one that should get far more attention.
The Hallows by @hollytinsl3y.bsky.social is a finalist in this year's #SPFBO and the second time one of her books has appeared in the final 10!
My review explains its success.
In an age of innovation in the fantasy genre - this book is a prime example.

Just for fun, we ran an SPFBO11 cover contest in my Book Club Discord recently, with members nominating and then voting on their favourites. The Forgotten Dawn (art: An-Nhien Nguyen) just beat Immortal Dark (art: MiblArt) and The Sapphire Heart (art: Jeff Brown) for the win!

Well, this little sequel to The Edan Trilogy is out today. While Darkness Gathers is an experiment for me, a risk and an attempt to say more with less while exploring how we can respond to the gathering darkness. Am I excited? Yes. Nervous? Oh, yeah. Grateful? More than anything.
