Students from our club and @DDEAnimeClub attended @c2e2 this past weekend. We bought comics, collectibles, and everything in between and were exhausted at the end of the day. Great trip into the city! @DDEcardinals
Last day to buy, folks!

Last Thursday, we put on its first "Santa's Bookshop." We got over 500 books donated (w? a substantial contribution from @mvolibrary). Kids were able to wrap & take home a free book as a gift for a family member! The event was a success and it was great to spread some cheer & 📚
More Santa's Bookshop photos! Big shout out to @mvolibrary and some of the great books kids got to take home! Our students were so excited to gift these! 🎅🏻

Our first "Carry The Cardinal" day - students rocked their shirts and hoodies to get the message out about the Lit Mag.
The Cardinal is rocking 8th Grade Open House at DDE! Come stop by our table and grab our inaugural zine!

Today's workshop: Using Metaphor Dice by @TaylorMali to construct some original pieces. You haven't heard kids be creative until you've heard 7 sets of dice being rolled at the same time! #ddeexcellence
Our club will be hosting a "Santa's Bookshop" which gives students an opportunity to choose and wrap a children's book for a younger family member or sibling. A box for donations needed of tape, wrapping paper, or books will be located in our school's main office or Room 138.
So great to see colorful reminders to be kind throughout the hallways of DDE! #kindnessmatters #ddeexcellence
The Cardinal is selling Lit Mag shirts and hoodies! Email [email protected] to order yours! $15 for shirts and $30 for hoodies!
The Cardinal had its "Spooky Season" writing workshop recently. Writers indulged in some candy and a scary movie while crafting horror-centric pieces. What's something that scares you? #DDEexcellence
The Cardinal had its second workshop of the year doing some collaborative writing. Club members rotated stations in which they constructed poems, short stories, & artwork TOGETHER. Featured Piece: "Museum of Guilt" by well, everyone - "Spooky Season" workshop next! #DDEexcellence
