Really excited to have finally shipped this massive release, take a look at the video to see the amazing new features!
And of course download and play with it for free at luckyrobots.com - super excited for what comes next! 🚀🤖
🚀 We’re thrilled to announce the release of Lucky Engine 2026.3! "The Matrix for Robots" is now 100% Agentic 🤖✨
To train autonomy, you need a "Matrix" a virtual playground where they can learn before touching the physical world.
Today, we are dropping Lucky Engine 2026.3, and we think that it redefines how synthetic environments are built.
• Real-time ray tracing & path tracing
• 100% agentic (AI agents fully control the engine)
• Upload a photo → instant data generation for your policies
• Graph-based procedural generation, AI generated determinism
• No Blender required. Here’s what’s inside 🧵 👇
Last week I got Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra to separately build me a 3D game engine in C++ from ONE prompt - a short markdown doc with some basic requirements.
Opus 5.5 worked for 36 HOURS STRAIGHT and produced not just a fully functional 3D game engine, but TWO great quality games to go along with it.
Astra worked for 1.5 hours and produced a basic starting point. Not sure why it stopped, but the basic engine was there.
No idea what the code looks like (yet) - keen to do a code review and find out.
This is one of the games that Opus 5.5 built in the "Basalt" engine, as it called it. This is my reaction to seeing it for the first time.
This is what Astra produced in 1.5 hours - "Forge". Not sure why it stopped, would love to investigate further and see what it can do.
Suffice to say... my mind is blown. Watch the full video here - it shows the entire process, start to finish: youtu.be/R_uf5OfMGio

Insane 🤯
SpaceX has exercised the option to acquire @cursor_ai in an all-stock transaction with the goal of building the world’s most useful AI models.
For the past few months, SpaceXAI has been jointly training a model with Cursor, which will be released in Cursor and Grok Build soon.
We look forward to working closely with the Cursor team to advance our frontier AI capabilities
Well, here it is! We just shipped the very first version of Lucky Engine - a game engine purpose-built for robotics. Download now on Windows, Linux, and macOS - free for research & personal use: luckyrobots.com
Go train some robots... or make some games. This is just the beginning, and we're planning to update frequently as we keep working hard. ❤️
